I spent ten years certified as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, and I can't wait to get it back! I am currently staying with my folks due to financial problems, and I hope to move out and maybe actually get a job again in the next few months. I can't wait for the economy to turn around and jobs to open up again. I plan on returning to the Phoenix area soon. Update -- I am moving on or before Sept. 19. I am having some significant medical problems, and driving 2 or more hours each way for medical care, spending $400 in gas a month, is just ridiculous. So, I move to Phoenix next month. I can't wait.

I remember my senior year I got assigned -- unwillingly -- to the alternate marching drill team commander for Annual Inspection. Mike Woolard had the competition Armed team and kept breaking my ranks during practice one day. I told him if he did it again, I would have to kick his butt. Well, he did, and I did. An officer has to keep her word, after all. I wonder if he ever lived that one down LOL
