I will always remember Senior Cheif as he not only passed on his knowledge and love for the NAVY but taught all of us the honor and ethics that we all take with us today. He was a positive influence on many cadets at Eldorado, Senior Cheif will be dearly missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with his family

I will always remember Senior Chief Goodland. He taught me that I could achieve anything as long as I believed in myself. I gained the courage to take on tasks that I would normally have shied away from. His devotion to the Navy and specifically our NJROTC Corps, was the driving force behind the "family" that we all are today.
I fondly recall when Senior Chief asked the Drum and Bugle Corps to play the "Stars and Stripes" at the beginning of a drill meet. I was so nevous that I would mess up my piccolo solo. I think that this particular
solo was the best performance I ever gave. I thank you Senior Chief for giving me the confidence in myself to succeed! You are loved dearly and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to your family.

I am sad to hear that Senior Chief Goodland has passed. He was always so helpful when I needed it most.
