Deanna Ballinger Miller

I went to work at Nellis AFB immediately after graduating, thanks to earning 100wpm in Shorthand in Mr. Milhouses' class. Got married in the fall of 1956 and had my four children in four years. Stayed busy raising my children for many years. Moved to Omaha, Nebraska and after l0 years moved back to Boulder City, Nevada. While living in BC, I was a member of the Womens Basketball team and a member of the Womens Volleyball team. I became a certified Senior Skin Diver and a certified Senior Life Saver. I moved back to Las Vegas and began working for Las Vegas Justice Court and retired from there. I began a 2nd Career in Nye County as Volunteer Firefighter and EMS 1st responder. Retired and I am back living in Searchlight, home sweet home.

Ran around with a great group of friends; Judy Kennelley, Joy Head, Judy McCarthy, Sophia Kuvelis, who did I miss? Had lots of adventures and fun. Tried out for Cheerleader, made it, but was told I couldn't have it and to try out again the following year. Disappointing, but that's the way it was.
