Jo Boone Kimball

Biggest accomplishment, of course, was raising 5 kids. . I went to work at General Telephone of California after graduating, worked there for about a year and then gave birth to first child. I stayed home and raised more children as they seemed to continue to come. I returned to work at General Telephone in 1970, just prior to the loss of my husband who passed away at age 35 and I, 33. I worked there for 28 years before retiring. I remarried (therefore I am now Kimball), moved to Arizona. After a year or so of retirement I needed something to do. I purchased a small video store and ran it for 17 yrs. My second husband passed away in 1995, I sold the Video Store and retired yet again and have remained so since. During all this time I was blessed with 7 grandchildren and have loved spending time with them and watching 5 of them grow into wonderful adults. ( 2 of them just 10 and 8 yrs.)

I really can't think of anything that stands out. I felt my High School years were pretty normal. I had a lot of fun and great friends. some of most memorable, going over to Dutchys during lunch, doing the water balloon toss at the kids on front step ( yep, I was one of those). Going out to see the bomb blast. The sad loss of Phillip Thomas (a good friend). My close friendship with Carolyn Corey (going to her house and riding the elevator..awesome). My close friendship with Carol Phillips, which I am still blessed with still having today.
Normal stuff, normal kid.
