I spent a night in jail in Myrtle Beach once - but that was to make sure that a fellow LCHS '88 spent not one second more in jail than he needed to.

We bailed him out at 6:00 am? 6:30 am? - Just as soon as they would let us.

Maybe crime was a bad topic. Still safe for me to come to the reunion? I promise I'll be off duty!

aw, we've all done stupid stuff at some point. most have been lucky enough not to get caught or are too embarrassed to tell. is anyone nervous? i'm down in miami today, getting ready to have dinner w/ my gma and wondering about hurricanes? i think september is going to be rough

Bite your tongue Chris.

sorry Brady. i personally feel the gulf, FL & THE CAROLINAS have gotten their share. have u ever looked at how NJ is just hooked out there waiting to catch one? and it definitely could use the cleaning up! i didn't even think of it for you on the business side?

I post that 'I've never been arrested' primarily because I have been lucky. When Chris got arrested in Myrtle for 'Drunk in public'? 'Inciting a Riot'? - whatever bullshit charge they put on him - he was hobbling to a cab in a walking cast and stone cold sober. I was drunk and went chasing after him, and had a cop slam me up against a wall to stop me. I'm damn lucky I didn't get an 'Assaulting an officer' charge along with a Rodney king beating out of that. Edit: And if Chris bites his tongue - he probably sounds like this:

hey Bredy, is it raining over there? i just loaded in Orlando and when i hit Wildwood the sky just dropped. up by Ocala now and still coming down good.

Walt, i couldn't do that job and actually feel most who do, struggle w/ the morality and demands of it. in the heat of the moment they're supposed to display common sense, good judgment and patience like no one else and we as people, pray they can think outside the box, because the ones who can't really scare the sh** out of me.

can you believe the stuff we got awayw/? i always wonder if our kids will be able too?

too many rules, taxes, choices, etc.?

Yep. Gonna rain all day.

Wish I'd have known you were driving up, I'd have hitched a ride.

i usually don't come to FL this time of year. it was a last minute thing, but that would've been great, you could've driven for awhile and i could've gotten a nap!

North Georgia really needs the rain. So I won't complain about that. Hurricanes in the South on the other hand, make work a pain for me, so I'm cool with them hitting North if we get some rain out of it.

So, lots of folks in town tonight. I plan on taking the minivan and doing a few laps around the McDonald's parking lot - see if the cops hassle me or not. Anyone in? To show that it's not all NSFW and/or comedy links from me - here's the Last Lecture (for those of you who know the book) Well worth an hour and 16 minutes, in my humble opinion.

Walt:
I wouldn't say I was "sober" exactly, but do appreciate your defense of the BS that took place that night! Phil & I will be doing something tonight, so give let me know if you want to meet up for drinks.

I hope everyone has a great time at the reunion this weekend. I hate that I will miss the festivities. Couldn't make it back up from Atlanta unfortunately. Someone take a video camera for part of it and post the video. Have fun and don't drink too much - ha ha ha ha ha ha. Yeah right.

Heather Heider (Van Pelt)

Muffin: we will all miss you!

that is hysterical about going to McDonalds. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow night.

Yes, Jay Carol is wanted by the FBI, he is a fugitive

Brian, I love that Belushi skit.

Just wanted to tell everyone to have fun this weekend. I'm sorry I will miss it. I'm in newborn hell right now. I got too much sleep for the past 2 years. Now, I'm struggling on the interrupted 4-5 hours per night.

See you at the next reunion, hopefully.

Molly

Have a great time everyone...I wish I could be there. I'm with Muffin in hopes that someone will post a video of the event. It is amazing to think that it has been 20 years already...hopefully, we can get together more frequently for future reunions (25 yr, 30 yr, etc)...enjoy!

Wendy, You are incredible! You totally out performed yourself with this reunion. Thanks for everything. It was great to visit with you as well. Thanks again girl.

Carey Blair (Albrecht)

Wendy and reunion committee,
What a great event! Thanks for making it happen for all of us!

To everyone else,
You all are as nice as I remember. I had so much fun catching up with everyone...you all look like a million bucks. I think we've all aged well, don't you think? It was definitely a little like being in the twilight zone...Katie, Karen L., Paula, Muffin, Christin, Bev D, Molly...hopefully we'll catch you next time! We missed seeing you.

PLEASE post pix! I didn't have a camera and would love to see them.

(To the old gang...thanks for teaching me how to text this weekend. Luv u Yo, B, J, and C!)

Three Cheers for Wendy - and a couple Huzzahs for her husband, as well. That was great. I really wish Friday night could have lasted another 4 hours - I know there were folks I didn't get to talk to. I did want to follow up to a few folks - I recommended this book, and I know that for some reason, I got the title wrong at the bar:

hey Walt, how'd you get on that subject? Marriage counseling too, is there nothing you aren't good at? haha

Wendy, you truly out did yourself and I'm sorry that we didn't get to make it on Saturday. It looks like u'all had lots of fun. Thank you so much and I'm w/ Walt, it really could've gone on longer. I can't believe how the time flew. Everyone really did look awesome and I've got my book now, so if I'm in your area (Brady) and have time, I'll be calling.

I'm already looking forward to the next one.
