Memories....
I definitely have some happy memories of my time at LCHS....my junior prom with Andy Cruz, laughing with my friends as we finalized the layout for the Crossed Sabres magazine, my senior year with Derek Jay and our fun times together.
A Fresh Start.....
But, I'd be lying if I said that my years at LCHS were the happiest four years of my life, because they weren't. I was very reserved when I was in high school and didn't allow myself the opportunity to enjoy those four years as much as I wish I had. So, the real fun began for me after I left LCHS and moved away to Richmond, where I attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I had the opportunity to make a fresh start in Richmond and make new friends. I was a founding sister of a new sorority chapter at VCU and graduated with a degree in Marketing.
Today.....
After I graduated from college, I moved back to the Washington, DC area to pursue a career as a Research and Marketing Director in the private sector. I am now the Chief of Staff at a well-known law enforcement agency in Washington, DC - yes, a complete career change, but I've been with the government for the last 10 years and absolutely love it. There's never a dull day! I also just recently got engaged to a wonderful man in June and couldn't be happier!
