Comments:

Worked for post office for 30 years and retired. My hobbies are cooking, gardening, entertaining, teaching English to internationals, doing crossword puzzles, spending time with friends and family, especially Norman. Have a rafting trip planned for the same weekend as the reunion. I've lived in Oglethorpe County all my life and love it that way. I have had the opportunity to travel out west several times and even to several foreign countries. This I never dreamed I would be able to do. Several years ago I came to know the Lord in a personal way, and His Holy Spirit came to live in my heart. I now have that peace and joy, which I had sought my whole life. I am so happy even though there are problems.
We are also rearing a 15 year-old granddaughter. This was totally unexpected and has been a joy and a priviledge but at the same time the most challenging thing we have ever done.
For years I've had in the back of my mind having a bed and breakfast, but I think it will most likely continue to be opening our home to family and friends.
Norman and I have been married for 46 years, defying all odds. He is wonderful to me, and I pray that we have many more happy, healthy years together.

School Story:

I didn't realize that your ages would catch up with mine. It' so good to see you out somewhere and know that you have been successful and that now we are actually friends on an equal footing. You were such a good class. I love you. I might have spent my life in the classroom had all my students been as good as you were.
Thank you for remembering me at this special time.
Please do not critique my spelling or grammar. I still remember how it's supposed to be, but other things are more important to me now. Guess it's the redneck coming out.
Looking forward to seeing all of you on the 13th.
