Jane,

You are so funny, but I agree. The ship might need some warning LOL. Class of '69 headed out to sea !!! I also agree that the committee did a fantastic job. I really enjoyed seeing everyone and also missed those that didn't make it.

If I am able to come home Christmas, maybe some of us can get for lunch or dinner. I am at work and the ER is full.

Chat with you later

The reunion was so much fun....Thanks to all who did the planning and especially to Edie, Edd, Tim, and Warren for the website and money changing. The website enabled us to walk in and know about each other. I am sorry that I had to leave at 10:00 to get back to Aiken. I heard the party really rocked into the night!
I hope that we will all meet again soon....let us know when we can start planning for the "cruise" so we can start squeezing into our "speedos and bikinis"!
Love to you all....
Bonnie

Now Bonnie that is a scary image!! I know not even my bicyle will get me ready for that. Good luck to the rest of you:) I really look forward to reading my emails everyday now. I used to go weeks and never read them. Travis is the computer person in our family. He has l0 more days at work before he retires. We are so excited for him. He has put up with a lot over the years at the Post Office.

For those that did not know. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer two years ago and had surgery. I'm still taking a chemo pill now. Nine months later Travis was diagnosed with Melanoma. He had surgery also. We are both cancer free now. It was an eye opening experience. The Lord blessed us in many ways. We really apprecicate everyday that He gives us now and we give Him the honor and glory. As so many of you know when you go though a tough time or a trial you look at things alot differently. No one is promised tomorrow. After all we are not getting any younger as we all saw on Saturday night!! So much for my testimony :)

Charlie B, darlin': What did you drink Sat-dee night -- it seems to still be in your brain and coming out your mouth! hehehe
Rest assured, they can check my luggage but they will NOT find a dang stinkin' turkey or road kill with me; it will be edible, though.
Can you imagine -- a surprise exit of a cacklin'-frazzled-feathered turkey from a suitcase would most definitely divert security's attention from a few items a couple members might "stash" (one item rhymns with stash). Ooh, we won't go there.
Who knows, perhaps a road kill of some kind might be appealing to foreign security guys -- they might think it's something dried like jerky or think if they put the kill in a pot of boiling water it would expand and feed the family for one day!
Carry on, Charlie B, anything to make 'em laugh, right?!
There's nothing like a good belly laugh! More laughs to ya... jane

To all my classmates, and as I said earlier, since we are a special group, with all seriousness, and referencing Peggy's last message -- I hope you agree that we all need to thank our Gracious God for bringing us safely this far in life so that we can enjoy getting together, fellowshipping as we did, and have such good times.
I'm here to tell you, only by God's grace have I survived some awfully low mental and emotional valleys this year. I am forever grateful to Him for bringing me through it all with His added comfort and strength. The positive note is that I became closer to Him by experiencing the lows. And, I have experienced the growing difference in faith He can make in one's everyday life. My God is an awesome God -- I hope you know Him too.

My God is an AWESOME God Too!! By HIS Grace I was able to graduate with you and be there Saturday night. As some of you might not remember, I had a seizure between our Junior and Senior year of high school. The medication they put me on put me in the hospital 4 months later near death. I have since heard horror stories from my family of how bad I really was.

So, by GOD's Grace, I am here today. Here for a reason. My prayers and thoughts go out to each and everyone of you everyday.

There's no denying it....most of us have gone through some very sad times. However, it's what we gain from those times that make us better people. I know my son would want me to be happy and honor him by loving life.
Our class produced a bunch of great folks with very positive takes on life.
I look forward to meeting again soon. We have to get together to plan for our next forty years.....
The best is yet to come!
LOL

Bonnie,
I totally agree!! I get so upset with the girls/women I work with because they won't say how old they are. I am proud of every year I have. I tell them I am like a bottle of vine -- I get better with age LOL. OH that makes me laugh just typing it LOL.

I believe that we are all put here for a reason and the hard times is what makes us the strongest. It is people like this class that helps everyone get through the "tough times".

I can't wait for the NEXT time I see all of you. I just hope I am able to go on the cruise. In fact I started looking at what I need to do for a passport yesterday and was filling out the form online when I realized the time -- almost late for work -- had CRUISE on the brain !!!

God Bless each and every one of us and our families.
