Katie Canup (Roberts)

So sorry to hear about Allen's Dad.

Janet & Tim, I hope all goes well with your surgery recovery. I have been suffering with Sciatica lately. Can't hardly walk. But I have been to doctor, got prescriptions for muscle spasms, inflammation, & pain. Am currently resting &  recuperating before scheduled physical therapy.

Also, sorry I missed class get together at Logan's Roadhouse. I woke up with a severe sore throat that morning. Felt awful! I know fun was had by all. I really wanted to be there.

Hello everyone,  Well, I won't be at Saturday night's reunion.  I had surgery last week and a few followup issues are preventing any travel for a couple of weeks.  Overall I am ok, just a short term inconvenience.  I was so looking forward to the reunion.  I will be thinking of y'all Saturday.  Have fun!

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Tim Bramlett and his family in the loss of his mother earlier this week. We haven't had any post lately is everyone on vacation? The class reunion was great and the band was really good. It was good to see old friends. Sorry so many were sick or not able to attend for what ever reason. Allen and the Nut-N-Nu band will be at the winery in Ila on June 13th they're worth the trip. Not sure if I spelled their name right. I don't guess Eleanor and I will be able to make it since she broke her ankle Sunday. Have a good weekend.

So sorry to hear that Eleanor has broken her ankle! How in the world did that happen? Warren, you better take care of that woman, she has definitely taken good care of you!

Katie

Warren Mason

Katie your right so I'm trying my hardest to do a good job taking care of her. She just stepped down off a step wrong and it rolled on her and broke on three sides. Sad thing I'm not nearly as good a cook as her. I hope everyone else is well and that you all have a good weekend.

Janet Byrd

Sorry about Eleanor's ankle, I hope for a speedy recovery.  Not much new with me, I think of classmates often.  I hope everyone has a good summer!

Mrs Crenshaws obituary is in paper tonight. I thought I had heard she passed away a few years back but I guess not. I never had her as a teacher but I remember her and she was always very nice to every one as I remember. Thanks for the well wishes from everyone for Eleanor she's doing good on the other hand a man's work is never done all the cooking cleaning washing vacuuming. I'm beat at the end of the day but I owe her big time so I'm not really complaining.

Ann I know what you mean my Dad has been gone for 7 years and it's still tuff. He lived directly behind me and I still expect to see him in the yard when I go out. I think you miss your parents until the day you die so all of you that still have yours spend time with them while you still can.

07/11/14 02:53 PM #560

Janet Byrd

Well said Warren.  Ann, sorry for your loss---I lost my Dad 20 years ago and while time has eased the pain there is not a day goes by that I wish for a visit or chat.  He was 80 and in a lot of discomfort, so I take comfort in knowing he is in a better place and that I will see him again.  As Warren said, we will love our Dad's (and Mom's) for forever!

I hope everyone s having a great summer.  Weren't we lucky for the several days of wonderful weather around the 4th?!
