Diane Graham Vendelin

While living in Springfield, MO in the early '70's, I met and married a young man from California. For awhile, we lived in Georgia where John was born, back to Missouri where we had Joe Dan, and on to Carson City, NV where Jake was born. Our family stayed in Carson City for 16 years. They were years full of adventure and lots of activity with three busy boys. I worked briefly in a doctor's office but was mainly a wife and mom. Our family moved back to Missouri in 1993. Life, as it happens sometimes, didn't work out as I thought it would, and the boys' dad and I divorced a few years ago. As I look back over the last 40 years, I have to say they've been good, but not without bumps, and I'm grateful and feel very blessed. And as they say, the best is yet to come.

When Tim Bramlett e-mailed me (thanks, Tim!) a couple weeks ago about the reunion, I began having so many memories of those times. I have loads of good memories and some where I cringe and think, did I really do or say that? Anyway, those were good times and a wonderful group of friends with whom I look forward to hearing about their lives and getting to know them again.
