Sandra Brown Davis

After many years of moving around with my job, I retired in 2002 and moved back to Danielsville with my new (THEN!) husband, Jimmy. We raise quarter and paint horses on Booger Hill Road, so if you are out our way and see a lot of gorgeous painted up horses, you are HERE! I retired from the US Department of Energy in Oak Ridge, TN -- left the Athens area in 1987 for San Francisco, then moved to Washington State with the US Department of Agriculture. In 1992, when my mom was very sick with cancer, I took a job at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, in order to be closer to home and help her in her last few months of life. I moved to Knoxville in late 1999.

I am a Lifetime Master Gardener (which means I have been a Master Gardener for over ten years) and love anything associated with plants. I recently received my Associates degree in Environmental Horticulture from Gwinnett Technical School with certification in Landscape Design. I love to travel, especially to the beach!

I have lots of good memories of the class of 1969 -- you guys were a huge part of my life for so many years!
