I worked as a information operator for my first job.
Got married to Jerry McElreath on November 5,1971
Worked in a sewing plant for a short while, Had my first two children. Went to Nursing School and got my LPN degree. Started working at Athen Regional in Nov. of 1981. Had my youngest child, in 1992. Discovered she has autism, and been very busy trying to meet her needs. Jerry worked for the Post Office of Danielsville for 32 years and retired, helping with Serena at the present. He also works with the Boy Scouts and mentors two children. We did a lot of Camping with the two oldest children. We do some gardening. Serena likes to ride the golf cart and ride in the boat, when we go to the lake. Serena is still in school
