Did you know Miss Piggy is from Iowa?

A winter storm watch for us this Friday. 6-10" of snow. Yesterday it was 60, and Friday snow. Just you typical Iowa weather. Hope it melts fast, I am ready to plant my garden.

So, who thinks this Stimulus Plan is really going to help this economy?

You know I had a hunch about Miss Piggy.

You must have gotten those warm chinook (Indian name meaning snow eater) winds that we get out here that blow down out of the mountains right before a big snow. We are expecting snow, but I don't think as much as you all.

Are you asking for trouble (again) Lori?! I don't know if the stimulus (pork) plan will work. lol I am hoping for the best, but again, I am not expecting it. I know really nothing about economics, but I do tend to agree with the republicans (of course) in that the money should be given in tax cuts, not handouts that will be a quick and nonlasting fix and will leave us with even a more massive national debt.

Where at in Iowa is Miss Piggy from? :) I'm game for a get together also, but can't think of anything more creative then the bar right now. Maybe the Vegas trip will come together at a later date. Can't you see Rick asleep and drooling from his Ativan in his plane seat?:) If he can't drive there, we're not going. What a chicken.

I would like to announce we had another grandson today- actually in Japan it was Feb. 12 @ 10:38 pm. His name is Breaden (Brayden) Dominick Kelling- 8 lbs 5 oz. Can't wait to get a webcam so we can watch the little guy grow.

Well, whatever Jim is putting on for video the school firewall won't let thru so I can't see it!! Is that any indication of what it's about? :)

Lori, sledding sounds like fun! How about tubing behind 4-wheelers as long as no one runs into fence posts, buildings,etc. I don't have anyone's phone numbers except Jimmy's mom and dad that he gave me. Are you guys in the phone book? Guess I could put Rick's cell phone number out here...That would teach him not to get on a plane!!
