07/07/09 09:24 AM #1038     Becky Lundberg (King) Dan, very eloquently put!! Even though there weren't many of us, I really enjoy the time together too. And it was great to see Scott this time! And we kicked butt with our float!! For those classmates who have either chosen not to attend or weren't able to attend for whatever reasons, all I can say is you're missing out on some fun times. If anyone has any suggestions on a different time or place to get together, let's hear them! I'm open to getting together more often than once a year!! Oh, and Dianne, I'm going to post a picture, but you can't see your face!!

My cousin, Darla (Haltom) told me that the class of '79 had a reunion last night in Milo. I thought I had heard that were not having a 30th. She is going to give me the details today or tomorrow. I am glad to see that they recognized their milestone.

07/13/09 04:55 PM #1048     Christina Haltom (Farrar) Dan - you name dropper. :) I know my sisters' class had a reunion but it most certainly wasn't as "big" as ours was. Haven't talked to her myself yet - she called while we were in Denver yesterday at the Rockies game. Dan, truly I thought of you a LOT yesterday. One of the best games Wayne and I have seen (in person) - the Rocks came from behind and won in the 9th. Great way to start the last half of the season. Watch out Cards!!! They certainly aren't missing Clint Hurdle very much. I have to say, though, that having a child certainly changes things - I spent almost 2 innings trying to find sterile water for Emma's bottle and security even took me to the clubhouse - but we had to walk for miles it seemed. Emma is going to be our Sara I think - she seemed to love being at the ballpark. :) New photo under my profile. And you crazy "mature" kids planning for the homecoming parade! Have fun!

Can't remember is they are having a parade also or not. Time to get the blue suit out again Dan.:) Dianne

Who knew life would be so much fun still (and crazy busy!) at almost 50 years of age? :) I have posted some photos of the class of 79 reunion on my private profile. How come they all look so OLD and the class of 78 looks so young? hehe Seriously, I didn't feel old until my little sisters had their 30-year reunion. I don't know many of the people - just recognize Janie, Gayle, Dan, my sisters of course, Sheila. I didn't pay much attention to the underclassman when I was in school. It looks as if they had a good time but they didn't have near the turnout that we did.

I am glad to see they had a decent turn out. A homecoming dance for the S.E.W. alumni? No parade, eh? Hell yeah, if there is a dnace, I 'll don the powder blue leisure suit and platform shoes again! Who's going to be my date? I will regret posting that question.
