WHOA! Where did the time go? What a crazy busy month. Now it is September and I am getting ready to stay up and watch the Jerry Lewis Telethon all night. Seriously, I still watch it.

Lori, how did the garage sale go? I am glad I could drive some business your way all the way from Minnesota. Yankees stuff?!?!?!

I am not a huge fan of Facebook as far as keeping in touch with fellow classmates. I much prefer this forum over what can be accomplished on Facebook. I actually like Myspace better than Facebook. I can stay in touch with my favorite musicians on Myspace. Twitter, not interested at all.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend. I am BACK and ready to post on the best website on the whole world wide inter web.

don't know for sure I think he got a bad virus and as for the new stuff all my kids are grown and gone I ve been married for 31years and I think I deserve it plus we haven't had any new furniture for at least 10 or 12 yrs thought it was time

Sorry I haven't been able to get back on here for a while but I'm certainly glad to hear I'm not the only one who doesn't get into Facebook too much. I'm with you, Chris, I don't just get on and randomly tell people what I'm doing at that very moment!! But I know a lot of people do enjoy it. I just don't have the time since we don't have internet at home so it's really just something I can use at work to communicate with my daughters since they don't use e-mail anymore!!

There are a lot of fun times going on in our old stomping grouds. Milo is going to try a street dance again this Saturday night, the 12th. There is a supper before too. If anyone is going to be at the street dance, maybe put a note on here and some of us can get together. Not sure if we'll go otherwise.

Unfortunately our homecoming in Indianola is the same night as SEW's homecoming so don't know if we're going to make the alumni dance or not. Are they still having something at the community center in Lacona?

Diane - Not sure I will be able to go to the dance after the game Friday, but we will be having our annual tailgate party before and during the game. Stop by and see us!! We have been doing this the past 5 or 6 years and have a blast. We are usually on the hill at the north end of the field somewhere (depends on where we get a spot to park at).

Becky - Didn't know about the street dance, sounds like fun, but we start our bowling league that night...

Dan - Thinking about a Vikings game this year, have to let you know when. We were going to try to make it to the San Fran game, but that didn't happen.

Hey, Barb! If you do go to a Vikings game, will you let me know? My son is a Vikings fan and I've been debating about taking him to a game sometime but don't know if I would be brave enough to do it by myself - also don't know if I could even afford the tickets but I might try to find the money somehow. He would love the chance to go to a pro game.

Dan, do you have a way to get tickets?

I just went on my Facebook page and saw a note from Brenda Rushing (Lori Fosdick's sister) and Brenda asked everyone to remember Lori because she maybe was having stents put in today - if not then she would undergo open-heart surgery. She said the muscles around Lori's heart are very weak. We saw Lori at Milo on July 4 and talked to her for a short time.

Let's all say a prayer for Lori.

Well everyone Lori is off to Wisconsin and I'm off tomorrow for Sunrise Beach Lake of the Ozarks to visit a old friend Old as in Ive known her a long time she lived in Milo for a while her name Kathy Short hope to have a very relaxing weekend just don't know if I can be away from my grandbabies that long :(

Becky we are going to Wisconsin for a long weekend to see my sister. So we won't be at the dance. It usually is a good turn out. We always have a good time.

The Homecoming Dance is at the Lacona Community Hall. So, Danny there will be no bleachers to hide the booze. I think it starts at 10 pm. I will definately need a nap if we go.

Lori had the best weekend it was so relaxing to just sit on one of her 3 decks and just watch the water and it was so peaceful hope to do it again some time hope yours was just as relaxing

As much as I think it would be fun, Indianola's homecoming is the same night. I'll be wearing Tyler's jersey #67 and hope he'll get some playing time in the game!! Last week's game against Sioux City was a nailbiter - double overtime - Indianola won 42-35!! The team didn't get home until 3 AM. I'll be cheering them on for another victory this week!
