No seriously, I LOVE the internet - just love it - there is so much information out there and it is so cool that we can all be in touch. However, I just am not interested in facebook or twitter or any of those sites. I can see people really enjoy them. It is just not for everyone.
I put my name in on google and I am mortified at the things that come up - personal condolences I put on Dan Fogelberg's site and a friend's husband's web page she put on when he passed away. It makes me cringe.
Just heard on Hannity tonight that there is a bill that is up for vote that will give the government (the President) the power to "shut down" the internet in times of national crisis. How scary is that? I feel we are slowly being led down a path to slaughter and we as a country don't even know it. Our lives are being taken over before our eyes. Of course, there again, there are a lot of people who want the govn to take care of us. Sigh....
