OK! CLASS! I have reworked the JULY 4, 2010 SURVEY. I would like to know how it got messed up in the first place.

Nights in White Satin scared me.

I had no idea what 7 meant

I didn't even know there were answers to begin with.  I just figured it out with the questions. Pretty much a "no-brainer".  And you people say you went to SEW?

Danny, I refuse to give you a comeback on your statement.  And look at the turtle necks! The jackets, kind of reminds me of Sonny Bono.  Put a group in a suit jacket now, be able to understand the words that they sing.  The 60's had such meaning and passion.

Something is odd here.  There are 9 respones to the 1st 2 questions, but only 8 for the last one.

Happy Birthday Kimberly Konrad!

50's are fun too!  Got to love the music.  Was this the beginning?  Such great diversity!  Gosh, what am I going to do for the 40's?

Glenn Miller kicked some ass in the 1940s.

A beautiful Minnesota day it was today and what do my two kids and I do? We go to the upper midwest nerd and dork fest also known as the Comic Book Convention. I shot this video of the losers that think they are super heroes. It was hilarious and rather sad at the same time.

Lori Godlove (Goering)

I would rather say more sad ....

Danny Beck

Sad, yes, but there were many moments of laughter for the three of us.

Dan - I was thinking of you this Mother's Day - and all your siblings.  Know it was very hard for you all.  I remember those first few Mother's Days after Mom passed on.  It took me a long time before I realized that I could not pick up the phone and call her - I would see something to buy and think "Mom would like this....." and then reality would hit.

You people don't know good 70s music....here ya go!!  I didn't really get into the Eagles when I was in school, but I do now.  I remember I used to snicker at the 50s people who were "stuck in that era" and now I TOTALLY understand because I am majorly stuck in the 70s.  :)

Oh and notice Glen Frey's hair (on the drums)!!  Don't ya just love it?  lol

Lori Godlove (Goering)

Well I do.  Not sure if Danny does.

OH! GAWD! I am such a music nerd. Sorry, Cuzin Christy, but that is Don Henley on drums for the Eagles. Glenn Frey played rhythm guitar.

I have been an Eagles fan since the ONE OF THESE NIGHTS album. Good call.

My bad!  I knew that!  I was a Don Henley fan also when he came out with his solo albums.  Glad you think the Eagles are/were a great band.  They are in Denver this week - wanted to go see them, but tickets are SO expensive!

I did have the Eagles Hotel California album while in high school but I was more into the soloists such as Linda, James and Carly.  As I said, I now pretty much have a fondness for all 70s and early 80s music, whoever the artist was!

Got a couple of Linda's albums right here that my husband just produced.  And BTO, and ELO and Wille and Alabama.  And Elton John's Greatest Hits.  Plus more.  What is a person to do with these and Danny what is the value?  I saw price on the Beatle Albums on Ebay for $75 and one for $249.  Please share your knowledge of Albums.  Thanks Danny!

Condition of the records is the absolute key to their value. Plus you need to find the right buyer. Selling records is an interesting study in humankind. I have seen beat up common titles sell for decent money and I have seen mint condition rare titles not sell. It is really frustrating as well. Most 70s titles will go for $5 to $10 depending on condition. The problem is that most people originally bought these albums to listen to them. That usually creates wear and possible scratches. Have I put everyone to sleep yet? Hello!

05/20/10 11:30 AM #1557

Lori Godlove (Goering)

Ok I will put $5 on all of them except the Beatles.
