Christi - Hanoi was OK but if I had my preference I would go to a city where they know what A/C was for.  You are right it was great how nice the people are.  I didn't have time to do much touristy stuff.  You can't describe that traffic, you have to see it.  I only saw one wreck though so it work for them!

Was Emma from the Hanoi part of the country.  I was amazed by the different distinct cultural groups in the country .. 54 i think?

Dan - you think it is hot in Dallas, try Hanoi in summer.  Right Curt?  Curt, Emma is from an orphanage 45 minutes NE of Hanoi.  As for the traffic in Hanoi, it is truly unbelievable.  No stop lights or stop signs and no right or wrong way to drive.  It is a free-for-all.  We were told when crossing the street to just walk at a steady pace - do not stop or speed up or slow down - "the drivers will go around you."  It was terrifying, especially when we had Emma with us.  I remember one specific instance when we took a cab and our cabdriver was going down the wrong side of the street at breakneck speed and there was a mass of cars coming right at us - I wanted to scream "Baby on board!!!"  Just in the nick of time he got back in the proper lane.  And we only saw one accident the whole 2 weeks we were there.  Go figure!

Okay and HOW do you change your photo on these messages??  Dan?  Lori?  You don't have your high school photos here, so how did you do it?  I don't think there are many of us who are fond of our graduation photos.  lol

I figured it out by myself.  I didn't graduate from SEW for nothing!  lol  For all those who want to change their photo, go to edit/upload photos and beside each photo you have posted it will have a box to click for "master" photo and this is the photo that will be displayed on forum posts, etc.

Wish I could join everyone for the parade & alumni party!  I just returned from my vacation in Vegas so I don't have anymore time off.   Placed 18th out of 1,054 women @ Ladies World Series of Poker.  I was filmed by ESPN at the TV table so you might see a glimpse of me when they show it next year.  Had a ton of fun and brought home a little chunk change.  A French Pro won.
