It's February 27,2023, as I write. At 72 I'm living in a small gulffront manufactured home community co-op with my 2 year old aussiedoodle that keeps me smiling. Now the snowbirds are mostly here so there are a lot of activities. After Easter they will head back north and there will only be about a third of us here. I like it both ways actually. I get together with my sister, Susan, daughters Stephanie and Katie and granddaughters Chase 18 and Kendall 14 and shop, eat and laugh together. They all live within about an hour drive at rush hour. I enjoy boating but don't own a boat anymore. Others here own boats and take those of us who don't out with them so there is an opportunity to go. I'm lucky to live in this semi tropical climate I think. I've always felt more at home on water than land.
