Last year Alan register on the 65Jaguar Website. It had been decades since I had heard from Alan but I received a friendly email from him. He reminded me of the times we played together pretending to be secret agents, jumping and karate chopping imitating Napoleon Solo (Robert Vaughn), the Man from U.N.C.L.E.  We talked about getting together but somehow that didn't happen. Alan was a nice soul decades ago and was a nice soul when I last communicated with him. It is a real shame. 60 is so young today.   Very sad...     Myron Siegel

I stopped by today to see Alan’s mother and brought her one of my few remaining Commemorative Yearbooks from our 45th reunion.  She didn’t remember me or my name but greeted me and we spent 30 minutes talking. She brought out some pictures of Alan and I have to say he grew into a very handsome man.  We talked about his life, his family and his children. She was a delight to chat with and I promised to return in the late spring with my wife to see her again. We spoke about Bert Herbstman and Steve Potoker.  It is a Mitzvah to go and visit her and it reminded me of why I agreed to help with the reunion.  We have lost many of our classmates and each year we lose more. Al was a young man at 60 but we have lost many young men and women from our class each younger than Al. It is time to reach out now before it is too late to reach out.
