I recall a serendipitous interchange with Norm a few years back at the Deli counter at the Jewel in Highland Park. He was unmistakable. There are some classmates that are like that--you can pick them out easily in a crowd. We had a nice chat while waiting for our numbers to be called. He was as nice a guy then as he was in grade school. When it was time to leave, we shook hands goodbye and wished each other well. I thought how fortunate it was to have had the opportunity to run into a classmate from the past and meet again as adults. It redefined the concept of time for me. Forty years ago was as 40 seconds when Norm and I parted that evening. During our 45th reunion this summer, I had the same feeling about how time stood still, when seeing all the familiar faces from our youth. I'm sorry Norm and all the other classmates who are deceased weren't able to join us. But I'm certain they were with us, not only in spirit--but Jaguar spirit. Rest in Peace Norman...you are missed and remembered--David
