Oh isn't it sad at the multiple celebrity losses this week.(Ed Mcmann, Farrah Faucett, and Michael Jackson) Who of the girls in our class didn't have their favorite Charlies Angel poses with a fake gun?? or try to do their hair like Farrah just once? Who can't remember that famous line "Here's Johnny" from the tonight show or want to be on Star Search? Who can't remember trying to dance to Thriller like a zombie at least once or singing to the Billie Jean song? Have fun at the LNO tonight, drive safely.

If any of you have not been to Arkansas lately you have missed out. We have such a beautiful state and plenty of things to do here. I have been walking the Big Dam Bridge in the mornings and what a scenery and exercise to boot. I went camping this week and GOD made some beautiful scenery their too. If you like sun and fun we have it. Hope you all have a Happy 4th of July with all the fixings.

07/09/09 01:11 AM #990     Gina Martin (Eggebrecht) Karen, if you can imagine this...I lost my 3 y/o on the Big Dam Bridge!!!! Talk about panic. She was hiding under the bench (at the TOP of the bridge!!) and we didn't see her under there. I was so sick afterwards thinking about "What if..." that I'm not sure I can return any time soon! Until that point, I loved walking it - we were there every day the last week of May. I definitely got a workout pushing the double stroller - ugh! I'm way too old for that!

I am lucky to have 8 years between my kids so the older one helps keep up with the younger one, on outings. Though soon after next year I will be back to keeping up with her on my own once again. Do you think we should look into GPS locators to put on the kids?? Double stroller, you must have awesome arms muscles. WOW!! If you ever up at the bridge before 8 am I will see you there at least til school starts back.

Alumni Chris Maxwell (Class of '82) will be in LR for a rare performance on Saturday night, so we switched days to avoid the conflict of events!! Please keep David, Lisa and their family in your thoughts and prayers while they are dealing with this sudden loss. The funeral arrangements are pending. I will post an update as soon as they are completed.
