Okay Kids...

While we are all basking in the glow of the reunion, lets pick a date for an informal get together.

The Hogs are in LR Sept 6 (no time yet) so if it's an early game we could do Fri or Sat night... or a big tailgate if it's a later game?? If that's not long enough for Miz Reves to completely recover from this one (lol) maybe Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving??

Who's in, and when???

Oh, Kim! That is a TERRIFIC idea! I was so bummed that I couldn't be there this past weekend! I would love to come! And, if there is anything I can do to help with anything please let me know!

Just wanted to say.....WOW!!! I had a fantastic time visiting with everyone...25 YEARS that's a long time!! Makes me feel old..whatever!!! Still young at heart, I can still do a herky and the splits....yeah right!! I have not been to any of the other reunions but I am so glad I came to this one. It was so wonderful to see everyone and to meet your spouses. Like I said we have a beautiful class!! I was disappointed that some didn't come, but I look forward to seeing you at the next one right? I would like to say... Thank you to all who made our reunion possible and pitching in when you could. Stephanie and Robin as I said you are ANGELS for keeping us all together and creating this wonderful site and my goodness the maintenance on it I could only imagine!!! Not to mention all the hard work in planning these reunions!! OMG!! And it was so beautiful!! I hope you can look at your Waterford Crystal Angels and be reminded that we love you both and every day is a reminder of how much the Class of 83 appreciates every effort and stroke that you put into keeping our class alive in our communication as we grow older and the years go by...and/or until our next reunion.
May God continue to bless everyone as he has me. Keep in touch!!! Love ya!! Sonia

Oh.....and John Cohen I'm so mad at you!!! I looked for you all evening both nights!!! So I think I see here... you were hurt by others also in school....I do know what you mean, me too. I Didn't know where I fit in either way back then and I leaned towards those who accepted me...most probably the worst choices...because I heard a lot at the reunion "Sonia you were wild girl!" Not really just lonely trying to find my place of acceptance. Ummm Jock/Cheer or Smoke Hole hood? ummmm...and now 25 Years later I think I fit in with any crowd!!! I'm not Skerd!! Praise the Lord he carried me through it all and I teach my children and grandchildren to seperate yourself from the clicks and just be yourself and love all of those that desire the opportunity to be your friend. No matter how well they dress or if they have a four wheeler, their a jock or in the band!!. Love ya just the way you are...Sonia

Sonia, thank you for getting Robin and Stephanie the angels - they are so beautiful! And what a kind thing to do for our two organizers - (who can't retire, by the way). ;)

I agree that we need to do some get-togethers now that we have the ability to communicate with one another a little easier. Let Robin and Stephanie take a break and have someone else plan something ;)

Liz, Brad and I would love to let you meet the Egglets. We are frequently at Tim & Hannah's so we'll take a walk some time to come see you.

I can't believe y'all stayed out until 5a.m!! I'm still laughing that Joe made Pam (Baughman) leave her OWN reunion to go pick up their daughter.

It was great to see everyone and meet spouses. Tina Skarda and Jeff Smith - thanks for your notes because otherwise I probably wouldn't have been there. :) And Caroline Pruitt - oh my gosh, I haven't laughed so hard in years.

Hey Sonia ~ Please don't be mad at John. It's my fault! We had an email miscommunication that seems to have resulted in him not attending. He was worried because his check had not arrived prior to Friday night, but I told him to plan to attend anyway and we'd clear it up later. I thought he would be able to check his email but later discovered that he hadn't. He had asked me to call him directly and I didn't see that request until it was too late. Friday was very crazy for us trying to decorate and make sure everything was perfect. That is no excuse for causing John to miss the reunion. It would never be my intention. Again, John, I apologize. I hope you can forgive me and plan to attend the next reunion.

Stephanie

Hey Everyone, I have loved everything about this website. reading about everyone and hearing about the reunion. I have been unable to attend due to living to far away ( husband is military) or like this last weekend, my youngest son was in the hospital. He has ulcerative colitis and has had to endure 3 surgeries. This was his last one and we are retiring from the military here in Va. So I am planning to be at the next one for sure!! Stepahnie and Robin --let me know how/when to order the book-and mostly--GREAT JOB!Take care everyone!

Dena,
My husband Paul, Andy Adams, and I plan to attend Tony Wittenburg's Elvis Tribute Concert on July 12 in Benton. I hope more people can attend this event. See you there!

Kim Mordecai,
We would love to meet you and others at a Razorback game. It will be a lot of fun! Please include me on this one and any other mini-reunions/get-togethers.

Bendi, David, Kim R., Darla, and etc.
I will visit the Fayetteville IRS office sometime in August, so while I'm up there, maybe we can go to dinner. I will get back to you when I have a firm date. Okay. (It's part of my job to conduct office visits at all of the AR IRS offices once a year.)

Christie Fancher,
It's so good to hear from you! I hope your son will get well soon. Hang in there! Thinking of you!

Caroline

Hey guys. Just a little information about Tony Wittenburg's Elvis Tribute. Most of you saw him perform Friday night. Tony is too modest to talk about just how good he really is. He entered an Elvis competition back in February in Augusta Georgia. It was his first Elvis competition ever. He won First place and is performing in the World Final's in Memphis August 15-16th, 2008. If any of you want to plan a trip to go support him, let me know. I am already planning to attend. Most of you know that Tony, Ned Alley and I were pretty much 3 best friends in high school. Tony will never brag about himself but he is so good, most people accuse him of lip syncing. He is planning to go pro and if he wins in Memphis in August, it just might launch his career. Most people that are into Elvis say that Tony is the best they have ever seen. I am proud to say Tony is one of my friends. It's great forming such strong friendships at such an early age and having them last a lifetime. You too Ned. I think we should have some of these mini reunions several times a year. Everyone has such a good time together, why not.

Christy Fancher hate to hear that about your son. Hope he gets well soon. What happened to Gina Perez I enjoyed talking to her at the reunion and now she appears to be gone. Did I miss something at the reunion?

Tony you did a wonderful job!!!!!!!

Caroline everyday I pass the road where your grandparents live and I will think of our wonderful talk.

Stephanie: I didn't know all the details about John, just had read that he would be there and then he wasn't. And he sounded so down and out in his message. Yes, mam you were a very busy lady this past week, and did a super job!!....Sometimes there's just not enough time in a week much less in a day!! Especially when planning such a big (2)event! All should be forgiven!! Looks like we will have many mini get togethers in the near future, Elvis 7/12 in Benton, Razorback game and so much more!!! It's all good sweety!!! So John please come join in....I am!!

I'm glad I finally made a reunion, we have an awesome class, for two nights it seemed as if we were back in time, all the stories and times I had forgotten about, I have no idea how we did so much in the few years we were at McClellen, or survived for that matter. If we could make it a movie it would blow away American Graffiti. I hope to make it back sometime, if anyone makes it to Florida look me up

Later

I will also concentrate on helping with the Missing since I was one of the missing for a few years! I have access to plenty of databases to find people. I see the list of Missing individuals. Is there a listing in existence of last known addresses or contact information anywhere that you guys have used? I think I can help out with this effort.

It was so great seeing everyone at the reunion. I had talked myself out of going, but with Stephanie's encouragement decided to go at the last minute. I'm so glad that I did! I only regret that I didn't even get to speak to all in attendance.

Gary Yandell and Ande`: You both looked great- glad you made it!

David Ballou: Great seeing you and Lisa. Tell the rest of your "close" family hello for me!

Dena: I haven't seen you move like that in years! (I was sore, too!)

Steph: You looked beautiful and seemed to have a great time in spite of all you had to worry about... You and Robin did a fantastic job. All 3 of my desserts were fab!

Susan Craig: I love it when I see someone and we can just pick up where we left off...you are so much fun to talk to, and your husband, Lon, is a saint for even pretending to enjoy our silliness! Keep in touch, okay?

Sonia: The angels were a perfect choice! Thank you! Hope
Steve enjoyed the Cubs' game on Saturday.

Steve Leopard: Way to come through with an awesome photographer. It was wonderful seeing you and your video. You guys are terrific!

Sonia.....come on now, ya know me better than to think I am depressed, lol..Sorry that i missed all of you, I was soooooooo looking forward to seeing all the folks that I knew alll those years that did not remember me. It happens. Helllll Sonia, Ya wanna catch up, just call me, I will rolllllll into your parking lot, pick you up on my trusty two wheeled steed and away we shall ride, into te sunset, into the night or just into the traffic to get us to the next parking lot.......

Kim Reddin.......Oh Please tell me you do not believe that Gina Perez is up to no good.....You may not remember her and her sisters from school. They were shunned by many, think about it for a minute..We didnt have tooo many folks enter our world of Mexican nationality...I spoke to her soon after she left the reunion and she seemed very hurt by something that was said about her that she was not meant to hear. Brought back many painful memories of her time at McClellan...She is a professional photographer (weddings and events) as well as completing her education in psychology...LOL..look at me, still championing those who wont defend themselves...

The words i wrote were to invoke an emotion in all who read it and it worked well....Made you all think if just for a moment how wonderful our lives have been and how much we value those who we lost touch with....

Hello everyone,

My wife Lisa and I had an awesome time Friday and Saturday night. Robin and Stephanie did another outstanging job planing and executing a great reunion.

Lets all join in and give Robin and Step the perfect cheer!
OOhh ungowa we know who's got power GO ROBIN!
Go STEP! YOU rock with the beat that just won't stop!
You drum with a drum thats tons of FUN!Maybe next time you two can relax, and hand the reins over to the rest of the class!!!!!! GO LIONS! 83 Yeah BABY!!!

I was sorry that we didn't have longer to talk to everyone and catchup on life. Were're all living simular stories, with raising children, working for a living ,and coping with what life deals you.

We had such a large class I thought I knew lots of people, but many I never had classes with I never got to know. No matter who you hung out with, stay in touch with people ,or email a note to let them know, were all family and will forever be linked by Mcclellan '83

Have a great one!
Dave

Thank You ROBIN & STEPHANIE!!!!
The reunion was great! Can't wait til the next one, maybe we can get everyone there...

I usually don't say very much but... yeah right!!!
Well what can I say... I really don't know why people have to "out" someone in a public message forum... still so "High School". I have no feelings for alot of people I went to high school with but would never ever wish them any harm, words and actions hurt as much as a punch in the face. Personally I love it when people talk about me!
Good, bad, doesn't matter, but for some nice people have some tact before you open your mouth or move your fingers across the keyboard. Thank you BIG JOHN! Where the hell were you!!!

LOVE YOU ALL!!

Hey Andy

I assume Tony AKA Elvis goes by Tony Witt. I'm here in Beebe & a city employee just brought me a poster with Tony Witts name & picture on it. It looks like him but wasn't forsure. I'll just have to go to the 4th celebration and see for myself.

06/26/08 11:17 AM #98

Andy Adams

Lisa, Yes Tony goes by Tony Witt. It just sounds better than Wittenburg. It's his stage name. I am sorry I didn't see you at the reunion. I didn't make it around to everybody. Tony performed at the Christmas lighting ceremony for the city of Beebe last year.

Good luck in the future Tony!!

I missed alot of people I wanted to talk to, my husband gave me 2 hours and he was ready to go. Next time I guess I will come alone so I can stay longer.
