Mike, John, Rayburn, Sander, Steve, etc.. You all had great rides back in the day. My son noticed these cars in the yearbook the other day and he was impressed. That's when I was forced to whip out a picture of my BRIGHT HUNTERS ORANGE Ford Courier. It was a chick magnet that somehow got demagnetized before I bought it. At that time in 1982-83 when gas prices soared to .93 cents a gallon, I was happy to drive a vehicle that got good gas mileage. I was happy to have anything that would get me from A to B. As a matter of fact, I could buy a Ford Courier for what I spend a month for gas now! Does anyone know where I can buy a courier in good condition?

Mike, don't forget about Robert Johnson's immaculate brown and tan Dodge Dart. I think he got a ticket our senior year for drag racing off of 65th st. Do ya'll remember that girl that was in a grade above us that had a beautiful burgandy, mint condition 65 mustang. She told me at the time that her dad had bought that car for her the year she was born and put it back in his garage to give to her when she turned 16. He had hardly ever driven it when he gave it to her. I thought it was one of the hottest cars I had ever seen. (That was the pre-FOOSE era) Her car was stolen off of the lot at McClellan and was totally destroyed. Man that sucked.

Mike , if want to write a song about my Ford Courier, you have my permission. Jeff

Just located this message board. I hope to see everyone at the reunion. Got out of McClellan weighing in at 145# now alot more, less hair and 3 kids.
I envy David Ballou, got it all over with quick. I still have one in diapers, But we live on a great farm. I've got a killer job and a terrific family. Trucks, hunting and fishing. That's what I do. Cannot compare to Kirks(Jeff) score, but have fun. cost of gas I might need to see "Big John" about a motorcycle.
I figure if I switch I might as well ride moving art.

Unfortunately, I will not be attending the class reunion this year. I'm in the process of fulfilling maid of honor duties for one of my best friends but would have loved catching up with everyone.

Currently, I own a virtual business that develops websites and consult with clients all around the world. The majority of my clients are in Australia, UK, US and Canada. I've been doing this for about 5 years full-time and loving it.

It was great reading about how everyone is doing and catching up on the status of everyone. I have to say that some names I remember while others I don't. Hope everyone has a great time at the reunion.

Big John, your great! I want to thank you for your help. Not sure if I am going to "gitt'r done" by reunion. Gary, dude, I put the weight on, but "I have my hair".

Gary, if it makes you feel any better I have TWO still in diapers and since one of them is only 4 months old - I'll be buying diapers for another 3 years, I'm sure. They say having kids later in life keeps us young - then why is my hair getting more grey every. single. day?

Kim Beasley and Gina Henley found me on Facebook. Anyone else on there?

Mike, did anyone get Lionette/cheerleader info to you?
Gina

Kirk, why did'nt you make it easy, and drive a AMC Pacer.A Ford Courier "wow Doc" that's a tall order. Will just one line in the song be about right? By the way, Pacer - rhym's with 17 word's; courier - only 3 words.... counturier ,counturiere, and vaunt-courier. "Oh", I thought of a line... Do you vaunt a courier for Christmas? I can't wait to see ya, Kirk. Look's like life, and GOD have been good to you also.

Hey, everyone! I just want to say thank you and GREAT JOB to Stephanie Butler, Robin Johnson and everyone else who participated in putting this website together! I just discovered it recently and am enjoying reading everyone's profiles and hearing from some of my old friends. I won't make it to the reunion this weekend because I have a qualifying horse show to get my mare to the World Finals in the fall. You guys have a wonderful time! I will be thinking of you!

ooooohhhhhh. my head hurts. It is almost 1pm Saturday June 22.I have just gotten out of bed, driven by the need for potato chips.
Did everyone make it to their destination last night (or this morning)? Please check in here - I like to know my pals are safe.
I am quite pleased to know that I can still stay out all night, but it's not something I feel the need to prove again anytime soon. That was crazy.... anytime MidTown seems like a good idea, I know I should have stopped drinking hours before.
All I have to say for those of you who have to travel today is... well, sucks to be you!
I am going back to bed now.

Hi Liz & Teresa,
Paul, Tina (Skarda) and I made it home, safe and sound this morning. I'm glad you two are doing okay. We had a blast again! It was great to see everyone!

Tina (Skarda), Ronda (Sipes), April (Hoyle), and I had lunch with Julie (Sonk), Donna (Atkinson), and Jo (Wiess) today. We told them NOT to miss another reunion!!!! We told them how much fun we had this weekend and shared some reunion stories with them.

Stephanie and Robin,
You two did an excellent job, as usual! Thank you so much ladies! I'm looking forward to our next reunion! If you need some help on the next one, count me in.

Mike Oliver,
I love your song about our class! It was wonderful! Can you post it on this website please? I would like to have a copy of it. Thank you for writing it!

Tony Wittenburg,
As a big Elvis fan, I throughly enjoyed your performance Friday night! I plan to see you perform sometime next month. Okay.

Please take care and keep in touch!

I have a couple of other song's I have recently written so I have got to get in there. I really enjoyed meeting your husband, Great guy. I was very happy to see how well everyone was doing. Susan, your husband, Lon was just one of the guy's, I enjoyed meeting him. I for one can't wait to see everyone again in 5 year's. Butch, Keith Green, Rayburn, Gary, Jeff, the memories go back to elementary for some. Gary, me and Renee are going to get up to Fayetteville soon and we'll do supper. We might even talk Kim and Darla and who ever else may be up in this area, into going with us. a mini reunion. Gary, Your wife and Rayburn's, as well as Shane really helped Renee have a good time. I am so proud to know everyone there at Mcclellan 1983!!. "THAT WAS A GREAT YEAR". My number is posted in my bio. Anyone feel free to call any time. I Mean, anytime you have a great hook, for a song. HAHA! "A word for a third". Anyone else around northwest Ar. let us know. We can have a mini reunion somewhere one weekend around Fayetteville.

Bendi L. Darnell (Toland)

Hey everyone,
We really enjoyed seeing everyone this weekend. I finally had time to read through the address book to see where everyone lives now. I see a lot of you still live around the Little Rock area but several came back from quite a distance for the reunion. We couldn't stay late Saturday night because we had to drive home. Teens were home alone...they are actually a lot better kids than we were! I really hope that everyone continues to keep in touch through the website. We need to help find all the lost graduates and get them on the site too! Maybe by our 30th we will have even more show up at our reunion.
See you again soon. Contact us if you are in NWA!
Sincerely, Bendi & David

I am kinda new at this chatting on line, so it may be too long. You who know me, know how much I can talk.
It was great to see so many people from the past. I had a great time. Everyone looked so nice and I can say without reservation one of the nicest classes of people around.
I am sure everyone realized what hard work and skill went into putting this event together. So again thank you to Stephanie and Robin and the countless people that helped them.
I got a big kick out of the performances by Tony Wittenburg(AKA Elvis), Michael Oliver, and Steve Leopards band. I also have to take my hat off to Greg Murtha and his pants trick.
I am encouraging everyone to help with the missing list since I heard so many people talk about people they knew and kept in touch with that where not updated. Maybe next time there will be noone missing. Wouldn't that be awesome?
Gotta go.

Have a blessed day.
Karen

Yes, I cried when I first heard it. I loved it. So many memories but of course I really couldn't relate to the cruising Geyer Springs since I NEVER did that..... LOL ok may every once in awhile..... I love you guys and please everyone keep in touch. OH YEAH.... Karen I had a blast DANCING!!!!!!!!!! Yep, I'm old, because I was feeling it when I got up on Sunday. LOL But worth every minute of it.

now that the pain has died down, I want to tell you all how great it was to see you. It was a wonderful time. I have a huge respect for those of you who had to get on planes or in cars to make those long drives home on Sunday - NO WAY could I have done it.
Steph and Robin, you did a fabulous job. I can't imagine that anyone could have done any better, so my guess is no one will try. (Yes, I mean it looks like you are stuck with it, but I bet you can get some help).
Gina-Beena-Rowena, those babies are gorgeous. I know you and the Egg Man are truly proud. Sorry he could not make it, but I would love to get together with you guys and see those little cuties in person.
I agree, Dena, lets hook up and do something soon. Now that we can all stay in touch, there is no reason why we can't plan some mini reunions. I just don't think I can do the 5am thing again anytime soon. Perhaps we should plan on going home by 2.

But ya wanna know what hurts the most...I sat here that night, just like I am now..Thinking of all of you, the times we shared, the lives we all touched, the families we all share. I wondered why i wasnt there, why i sat here wondering who showed up, where they had been all these years, what had they become. Were they still the unapproachable cheerleader, the looked down on one with the wrong clothes, the feared one with the reputation for being a little too loud and fast...Or had these people alll just became a part of the crowd. After all, that was 25 yrs ago. I should have been there, I could have been there, but I wasn't......Sooo i will paint a picture in my mind of who each of you became in your adult lives... Right or Wrong, you all will be successful, fun loving, charitable, parents of children who will live to care and love you as you do them......Enjoy this picture I painted for all of you. For in my memories you shall remain the McCLELLAN HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1983....

I just have to say it was GREAT seeing everyone. Whether we talked or not. Just being around so many people that I've known for so long was a great feeling. I believe the Lord blessed our class in many ways and look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Hey everyone. It was great seeing everyone. I really enjoyed talking to everyone. There are some of you I saw and didn't even get a chance to speak to like Cy Hinds. I really wanted to say hi and see what you have been doing all these years. I should have made a stronger effort. Hey John Cohen, as far as what you were wondering about: the unapproachable cheerleader and all of that, man our class has grown up and out of all that high school mentality. There was not a stuck up person at the reunion and everyone was talking to everyone whether they knew them back in school or not. It was probably the best reunion we have ever had and I have been to all of them. No one was trying to prove anything to anyone. All that took place at the 10 year. I was really hoping you would have been there. I will stop by your shop sometime and catch you up on the reunion. Hopefully more of our classmates will jump on the website and keep in touch. I would like to work on the lost list and start finding some of these people and point them to the site, so maybe by our 30 year reunion we will have a full house.
