Joseph Kim Apel

     I suspect that 51 years later we are all commenting that we wished we had kept up with someone. Kim and I had several classes together, and one summer worked as lifeguards together at a neighborhood swimming pool. He had the most wonderful sense of humor. But, he was also quite intelligent, and headed to a fantastic career after college. I know that we got together the first Christmas after high school graduation, and I am pretty sure we did again a few years later. I was headed to law school. We discussed the past and the future, and I am certain I made a mental note to stay in touch. What a wonderful person!
