Doug was a good friend since Cub Scout days.  A great patriot, having served many years in the US Navy.  He will be greatly missed.  God give peace and strength to his family.

It's sad to hear of Doug's passing. He lived on the other block of Spalding Street, and we often walked to school together. He was an easygoing guy, and he'll be missed.Over the years we kept in touch on FB. Our last contact was just a few days ago. Doug had been in declining health for several years. Rest in peace, my old buddy.

N.B. Remember your friends because they might not be around much longer.

I knew and lived in the same general neighborhood as "the other Doug" (as we used to call each other) for many years and his grandparents lived directly behind the house that I grew up in. We attended the same elementary school from second grade on and shared many laughs, more than a few snowball fights and a lot of running around in the fields surrounding an old abandoned barn when he would come to visit his grandparents.

RIP, Doug and sincere condolences to your friends and family!

Doug was a good friend of mine. Although we were not super close, we got along verywell and gave each other a jab whwnever we saw each other. All in good fun. We enjoyed each pothers company. I know his wife and daughters. My daughter is friends with them and my grandson knows all of his grandchildren. He was a brother Navy veteran, and for this, he has my undying gratitude. Thank you for serving, Doug. I salute you.
