Marvelous life. College graduate from CSU, Chico; Masters degree, Regis University. Married for 43 years. Worked in academic advising, career counseling. Started a retail business selling quilting supplies. Taught classes in quilting and crafting. Successful real estate salesperson for Re/Max Realty. Lived in Colorado for 33 years, also Huntington Beach, CA. Worked as a retail consultant nationally and worked as an independent career advisor, listed in "What color is your parachute", #1 job seeker's guide. Parent to one child, Brian, who is single with no children. As a retiree, I taught myself to cook and developed a low-cost, fast and easy food program, called My Chef.
The thing I think was unique about me was the scuba diving club that I started at Lompoc High. I was elected president of the club and I believe it was the only one of its kind in the country. My senior year I was also president of the Tres Condidos Girl Scout council, planning activities for senior Girl Scouts. I also was a square dancer while in high school, so I guess that would put me in the super-nerd category. While at LHS, I went to National Aquatic School and became a water safety instructor and a sailing and canoeing instructor with the American Red Cross. This gave me opportunities to be a summer camp counselor and Waterfront director on Catalina Island Girl Scout camp, where I lived on the beach all summer long.

Terrible news about Rita. I took a lovely photo of her at our reunion. The reality of our limited time on earth. May she rest in peace and know she will be well remembered.
We were all unaware of the eating disorder that Pam seemed to have. We watched her in high school become thinner and thinner--then too thin. I did not know that she married. Demons in our head do not just "go away". I always admired her greatly and was not surprised that she was our Valedictorian. When I see her picture in the yearbook with Mike Todd, I am so saddened that he too, took his own life. Again, what did we know in those early days?

Judy, I hope you will decide at the last moment to come to the reunion. Carol has extra dinner tickets for Saturday and the picnic on Sunday is free! Do try to make it. I would miss you. Leigh
