Stephanie Wilkinson Chamow
July 13, 2014, passed away after a long fight with cancer.
Stephanie Janice Chamow of Van Nuys, CA passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 16 TAMMUZ, 5774. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, at 3:00 PM in the Eternal Light Chapel at Groman Eden Mortuary. Burial will follow in Eden Memorial Park. Stephanie is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick"; daughters, Alexis (Paul) and Lindsay (Scott); grandchildren, Bailey, Madison and Drew. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Stephanie's honor to: Temple Judea Parenting Center. Arrangements under the direction of Groman Eden Mortuary, Mission Hills, CA.

I was so sorry to see the news about Stephanie. I have such fond memories of long talks during our PE class. She taught me so much about her Jewish faith and as a Catholic I was so interested in listening and learning. She had such a great personality and was a wonderful friend.

I was stunned and saddened by the news about Stephanie. She and I became close friends as part of the Senior Humanities class "road trips" we took as students a Millikan. About two years ago I began to look for her with hopes of catching up on her life. I was thrilled to stumble upon this website and find that Stephanie had posted her profile. I sent her a "Happy Birthday" recently along with a photo of her from one of those 1966 Humanities trips. I kind of wondered why I never heard back from her.
