Doug Otto

I've had a very rich and enjoyable life. After completing my education in 1977 I returned to Long Beach where I've lived ever since. I have a successful law practice and have served as a member of and President of the LBCCD Bd of Trustees since 2004. My wife Freda and I have 5 children in our successfully blended family. All are university graduates, employed in jobs with benefits and don't live at home. We have five grandchildren with another on the way. I'm an avid reader and enjoy the outdoors. I've hiked extensively in the Sierra Nevadas including hiking the John Muir Trail from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney as well as the Inca Trail in Peru to Machu Pichu. We have a cocker spaniel named Dewey, two cats and two birds and live on the Pennisula in Long Beach.
