Dad was in the Navy, so we lived in D.C., CA, VA and Ireland; back to Orlando area in ‘64
Three siblings – all younger sisters
Summer ’63 – the pivotal event of my life, at camp in the CA hills: discovering that Jesus Christ and I shared a desire to develop an eternity-long relationship
Attended Robt. E. Lee J.H.S. in Orlando, then South Seminole J.H.S. in Casselberry
Best junior high-era event (by far): membership in the ’66 Rabbit Key expedition with Mr. Hill
Graduated from Lyman with 425 (?) others: 6/9/69
Best (and most admired) friend in HS: Larry Rodd ‘68
Prettiest friend in HS: Andrea Morene ‘69
During HS: wrote Sports Columns for the Sanford Herald, following in Walt Bistline’s steps
Most memorable teachers: Mr. Button, Ms. Gilliam, Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Moriarity
Saddest time in HS era: death of my next-door neighbor and friend, Mike “Parky” Hedrick
Most fun in HS era: working on the annual Beta Club Talent Shows
First time I encountered a “strobe light”---at a Bistline party
Attended FTU (now UCF) Sept ‘69-Jun ‘73
Edited FTU’s first two yearbooks; co-edited the third and advised on the fourth
Worked at WDBO Radio, producing sports programming on FM, then nighttime talk ‘70-‘73
Earned my BS in Business from FTU, 6-9-73; greeting Pres. Nixon in the process
Moved to Gainesville; worked as a Yearbook Rep for Jack Williams Co. Jun ‘73 – Jun ‘74
Married to my best friend – Beverly Jean Reeves (from Lochloosa, FL)
Two children: Mitchell, now 34 and Libbi, now 28
Five grandchildren: three boys and two girls, ages: (due in Aug ‘04) through 12 years

Best over-seas time: Aug ‘02 missions trip & vacation to Hungary, Switzerland, France & Ireland
Anticipating, as I write this bio: Jun – July ‘04 missions trip & vacation to Azerbaijan & England
Current regret: missing the 35th with fellow Greyhounds. Lord willing, I’ll make the fiftieth.
