Jerry Warren (68)

Debbie, and I divorced in July 2007 after a 9 year separation. She married Chuck Engle class of 68 last December 2007. I married a long time friend (Katrina) this past August 2008. Allison and Brittany have both graduated from the University of Florida and join me and my dad as Gators. Jeremy will graduate from UF as a civil engineer next year. Brittany married Brian Sudduth in 2006. Sean Married Courtney in 2007, Allison married Lester Debs in April 2008. Jeremy is single and resisting all attempts for his status to be changed.

Attended Lyman from 1965/66 to 1967/68. Its hard to say who my favorite teacher was. I thoroughly enjoyed Flecther Cockrell for English, I thought Barbie Huges was real smart and I learned a lot from her. I also suspected she was a hottie under her bun, glasses and stilted diction. My impression was confirmed when she wore a slinkly one piece bathing suit at a honror society end of year picnic. I learned the most from Gilbert Button. He is responsible for my love and understanding of math.

Funny story: One day in Mr. Richards class, some one sitting close to me, I cannot remember who, maybe David Unley or perhaps Bob Faulkner, someone took the leg off their table and sat it upright in the corner of their desk. Of course the class began to snicker. Mr. Richards asked what was so funny? The more he asked the funnier it got. Finally, in desperation Richard's says I can take a joke please tell me what is so funny. Even if it is a dirty joke you can tell me. He was literally getting desperate and we were almost rolling in the aisles in laughter. Finally he saw it, turned red faced and said somthing like sheeze! You know he used to say that.
