Leslie Doyle

Right after graduation, I joined the Air Force and was stationed at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs for 6 1/2 years. During that time, I got married, gave birth to my only child, got divorced, and finished my Associates degree. After getting out of the Air Force, I worked for a defense contractor in support of the missions at NORAD. I also finished my Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. I moved back to Indiana the day after graduation. I then lived in Greenwood and worked in Indianapolis. I was a programmer for a company that developed applications for the retail industry. Three years later, I moved back to Loogootee. I am currently a defense contractor supporting Crane, working for STIMULUS Engineering. For fun, I read and write.

I am one of the few people I know that truly loved my high school years. I didn't love all of my teachers or all of my classes. I didn't have a perfect day every day. But I loved the fact that in a small school in a small town, I could do almost anything I wanted to. I loved my high school sweetheart; I loved HAVING a high school sweetheart. I made some great friends that I STILL consider friends. And I truly enjoy running into old classmates that I haven't seen in years. Don't get me wrong...I never want to have to do it again. But it's nice to look back every once in awhile.
