Eagerly anticipating this weekend's Class of '78 40th Reunion events and excited to see everyone! Hard to sum up 40 years in a paragraph... living in Houston Texas since 1993, two daughters in final year of college (the home stretch!);... in my free time, I enjoy Monday TV nights at my sister Helen's, fun runs with my sister Jeannette (running much more slowly than in the 80s! and requiring more Aleve afterward), rebuilding my home (thanks, Hurricane Harvey! lol), enjoy creative stuff, art, repurposing things, home staging/styling, music, church, HGTV, time with my girls, time with family, friends, and realizing that I need to do more of that and less work.

I recall pledging for Phi Delta Kappa (I think) and had to state a pledge oath (punishment) whenever a member caught me smiling in the hallway. "I am the scum of the earth, the slime of the sea, the lowest form of humanity. I am so low, so very very low, that it would take a divine act of providence to raise me to the heights of my stupidity." Cracks me up that I remember that! LOL! Had to wear a spoon on a string around my neck and bury the smile with it. Does anybody recall this craziness! Don't even get me started on initiation night....rolling down the hill behind Dana Smith's house.....fall leaves....syrup!!..LOL! :-)
