I remember Lee as a great guy in high school, and it appears he went on to become a very sucessful man in every way. Hate to hear of his demise at what I consider to be way too soon. May his soul rest in peace. Gene Saiter
Somewhere I have a picture of Lee & several other classmates doing the twist in the very small living room of my parents house on Old Brownsboro. If I find it I'll post it. He was always really nice, & I'm sad that we've lost yet another. RIP
I remember Lee as "Skip" or sometimes as "Skipper" Harvath. That was the nickname he went by at Ballard Elementery and into jr. high at Waggener. Anyway, that's what I continued to call him thru high school--not as Lee. Did anyone else? He was a real fine guy, whatever the moniker.....
Skip and I were fraternity brothers at Vandy (Beta Theta Pi). We sharred an appartment in my 1st year Med School and his 1st year Law School at UK.. We also had the rough job of being "house boys" at the Theta house there. What a great way to get away from our studies, get a free dinner, and meet the undergratuates. We lost touch with each other after that.
Sorry to learn of Skip's passing. He was a very good guy, and I'm sure he will be sorely missed. We need to slow down the rate of this stuff... take care of yourselves!
I, too, knew Skip, but hadn't seen him in years! In the third or fourth grade, I think, I was at his house on Travois Road a couple of times, and he came to my house a bunch of times. (I think his father was an engineer at G.E.)
I am also sorry to hear of Skip's death. I was at Vanderbilt with Skip and saw him often. I was also in the fraternity with him, and John Weeter as John has noted. I think that Skip was our house manager for a term or two. He approached the job with the energy and enthusiasm with which he approached everything. I dont think I saw Skip after our years at Vanderbilt. I saw, on these pages, that he lived in Florida. I assumed that he went there, and stayed there.

I also remember him as Skipper. I believe he lived down the street from me on Travois Road when we were in school. Sorry to hear the news
