Anne Howard Slocumb

Click and I married the Saturday after we graduated from college (UGA). I began teaching and he attended Veterinary School at UGA. After graduating Vet School we moved to St. Pete where he went into practice with two of his former professors in Vet School. I retired from teaching to raise our two girls. In Jan,1995, I began working for my church as the Director of Children's Ministry, a position I held and loved for 14 years. I retired in May of 2009 to become a full time grandmother! Click is still working!Life is good!

I will always remember after the Lanier football games when all of the girls who dated football players would sit in cars in the Lanier parking lot waiting for our dates to come out of the locker room. By the time they finally came out we would have just enough time to run through the Pig for fries before we all had to be home for curfew. The girls had such fun hanging out together in each other's cars waiting for our dates. JoAnne and I were always the last to go! Loved Lanier football, Porter Stadium and bus rides to out of town games. So much fun!
