Worked my way through GA TECH as a Co-op and received a BAE. Then, worked 36+ years as a civilian for the Air Force. I traveled the world and worked many different aircraft and programs. Was the lead engineer for the Sidewinder Missle System for 9 years. Worked the U-2 Aircraft and Ground Stations for 16 years; the last 2.5 as the Chief Engineer. Had the unique honor of flying in the back seat of a U-2 Trainer Aircraft, clad in full pressure suit and helmet, to an altitude above 70,000 feet. What a Ride.!!!
Since retiring, I have concentrated on playing Tournament Blackjack; traveling around the country playing in tournaments. In 2007 I won a chance to play in the ultimate tournament. I got to compete in the World Series of Blackjack IV. The tournament was televised on GSN (Game Show Network) and I played against some of the world's best blackjack players. I advanced all the way to the Finals; ultimately finishing 3rd.
