MEMORANDUM

Class Reunion Business Meeting was held on October 18, 2009 at the Holiday Inn, Columbus, MS.  This was the 1st of many more meetings to discuss the future of our next class reunion. The information presented here was agreed upon among those in attendance BUT the information presented here is not the final determination of plans and events for our next reunion. FOR THOSE NOT IN ATTENDANCE, THERE WILL BE FUTURE PLANNING MEETINGS. PLEASE TRY TO ATTEND AS MANY AS YOU CAN SO WE CAN HAVE A GENERAL CONSENSUS ON THE DIRECTION FOR OUR NEXT CLASS REUNION.

In attendance:   Derrain Cole, Latia Mickens, Lalphilbeia Smith, Deadric Williams, Genice Allen, Renardo Henley, Sherica Robinson, Cheimere Barnett, Natasha Harris, Lakeisha Hunt, Latonya Chandler

• Those in attendance favored a 15- Year Reunion (5 Year Increments beginning in 2014) 
• Those in attendance favored a ONCE - A- YEAR GATHERING. (At least one social event held a year, i.e,.drinks at Applebees, a backyard BAR- B- QUE, or other suggested gathering)
• These three committees, chair, and co-chair proposed for formation again: 1.) ACTIVITIES AND PLANNING 2.) COMMUNICATIONS 3.) FINANCE
• Those in attendance favored the chair- person reside in the NOXUBEE COUNTY AREA.

WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING VOLUNTEERS FOR CHAIR

• Those in attendance accepted Lalphilbeia Smith's as Activities and Planning Leader.
• Those in attendance accepted Sherica Robinson as Activities and Planning Subcommittee/Decorations Co-Leader and Lakeisha Hunt as subcommitee member.
• Those in attendance accepted Latonya Chandler as Communications Leader along with Natasha Harris and Cheimere Barnett as committee members.
• Those in attendance accepted Latia Mickens as treasure with Renardo Henley being Co-Leader.
• Those in attendance accepted Derrain Cole as Class President.
• Those in attendance accepted Latia Mickens (SHE IS OPEN TO FEEDBACK) as having responsibility to initiate at least a once- a -year social event. WE ARE BY NO MEANS LIMITED TO JUST ONE EVENT A YEAR AND OTHER CLASSMATES ARE WELCOMED TO SUGGEST AND PLAN OTHER CLASS SOCIALS.
• Deadric Williams called the meeting to a close.
