Greetings from the land of the sun. It's reunion day July 25, 2009 and it's a warm 110 which is cool for this time of year. We had a monsoon last night which is always fun.

I'm always involved at church in a music position somewhere. My stake is filled with Idahoans. I think I've rotated benches at least three times. Currently, I'm the Primary Chorister which is right up my alley.

I'm staying busy as Director of Operations for AZ Music School. Daughter Krista has decided to design a new music book cover which should be released sometime this fall. My students are doing well. Chris Esco is competing in the finals this week for a record label deal. He's an R and B singer, who studies classical style with me. Yeah, I have a degree in opera--that's what I tell the pop singers who want to take lessons.

I had my gal bladder out two weeks ago and am doing well.

One book about half way written, has been sponsered by producer M. Way. She helped produce The New York Dolls Documentary. We hope to release the book and movie in the near future. If this goes well, who knows I may feature growing up in Malad for the third book. The next one is already scheduled for an ancestral story including pirates and the kidnapping of my g.g.g. grandpa when he was 5. This is also the same ancestor of Billy Ray Cyrus. There's a reason his family looks so much like mine.

I will be performing at Temple Lights in Mesa, Wed. the 30th with my group and music from the new book. After leaving Malad high school, I attended Ricks College where I was involved in Student Body Government serving on the Academics Council as Career Exploration Chairman.

After marrying and divorcing I did an internship with PCA Portrait Studios while attending Utah State. I graduated from Utah State in 1999 with a degree in Music and in Music Education. Vocal Performance Pedagogy, Choral Education Secondary with Instrumental Emphases grades 6-12. I taught school in Utah and New Mexico before moving to Arizona.

While my son was on his mission in Florida I took a job in reservations for an airline, for the medical insurance. I earned a 4.0 in 13 credits of airline industry training from Rio Salado. It seemed like a very easy 4.0. The ones I earned at Utah State came much harder. I left the airlines in 2004 to become Director of Operations for Arizona Music School where I am to this day.

I continue to study and work with pros from the Opera and Broadway fields. Also, I was a member of the same writer's guild as Stephanie Meyers of Twilight fame. I knew her before the first book hit the store shelves. Who would have known in 2002 that she and her family were struggling financially?

Aside from musical composition, most of my writings are historical fiction or autobiographical. The Mystery of Justin Case is published online through a writer's competition. I used to write for The Leader Newspaper in Tremonton which got me started.
