James C. Bissell, 32, of 87 Forest St., a Manchester native, manager of material control for the Flour Corp. of Los Angeles, died Tuesday at a hospital in Isfahan, Iran. He had been assigned to Isfahan since February. He worked for the corpo- ration eight years and previously worked in Indonesia. He was born in Manchester, was graduated from Manchester High School, attended Manchester Community College and was graduated from Central Connecticut State College in New Britain. From 1962-1966, he served with the U.S. Marines in Ha- waii, the Philippines, Korea and Japan.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Winslow. Bissell; three sons, Christian J. Bissel, Michael E. Bissell and John C. Bissell and his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Clifford E. Bissell, all of Manchester, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Bancroft of South Windsor,
