Robert J. "Bob" Danahy, 62, of Manchester, beloved husband of Marsha (Sault) Danahy, passed away Thursday, (March 8, 2007) at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a long illness, with his family by his side. Bob was born in Norwich, March 14, 1944, son of the late William R. and Eleanor (Jewett) Danahy and had resided in Manchester all his life. He served in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam War and was employed for 27 years before retiring as a cable repair foreman for AT&T, formerly SNET. Besides his wife, Marsha, he is survived by a daughter, Amy Marques and her husband, Michael of Manchester; a son, Tim Danahy and his wife, Jen of Manchester; two grandsons, Coby Marques and Jackson Danahy and a granddaughter, Autumn, who will be born anyday. Bob is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
