John Vincent Gregan Jr. of Vernon and formerly of Manchester, died Feb. 23, 1999 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was 55. He was a 1962 graduate of Manchester High School. He was in the first graduating class of Manchester Community College in 1964 and had attended the Riverside Military School in Florida. He was a volunteer firefighter for the 8th Utilities District in Manchester for more than 20 years and had worked for the former Grossman’s Lumber Co. in Manchester. He was currently working at the Sanford & Hawley Lumber Co. in Manchester. Besides his mother, Evelyn Woolard Gregan, he is survived by his two sons, Christopher J. Gregan of Portland, Ore., and Eric P. Gregan of Manchester; and his aunt, Edith Woolard of Florida.

John Vincent Gregan Jr. was born on 28 Jan 1944 to Dr. John V. Gregan Sr. and Evelyn Woolard Gregan.  He married Margaret Grigalis on Aug 25 1968 in the South Methodist Church in Manchester, CT.  At the time of his marriage, he was employed as a section head by Grand Way in Bristol, Ct.
