JONES, Melvina M. (Sharp)
Melvina M. (Sharp) Jones, 60, of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late John C. Jones, passed away Saturday (November 20, 2004) at the Riverside Rehabilitation Center in East Hartford. She was born May 28, 1944 in Manchester, daughter of the late Edwin and Mildred (Stevenson) Sharp and had lived in Manchester until moving to South Windsor in 1966. Mrs. Jones is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Lorilynn Jones of Ellington; her daughter and son-in-law Nicole and Edward Allie of Weymouth, MA.

It seems like it wasn't so long ago Melvina was displaying her diamond ring to me, given by her to-be-husband. They are both 'gone' now. Mel is interred at East Cemetery, Manchester; her Find A Grave memorial is #364593542 & is shown below.

Sheila Veysey-Rinck (Rinck)
Melvina and her husband were very good friends of my mother, Marion and her husband Ken Malboeuf. My mom was the Godmother of their daughter. She would buy her a pearl every year until she died in 1987. I'm sure she missed my mom a great deal after she died. RIP Melvina and say hi to my Mom and Dad.
