Barry Eugene Sweeney, 66, of Manchester beloved husband of Andrea (Eliason) Sweeney for 40 years, passed away on Saturday (January 23, 2010) surrounded by his entire loving family. Born in Hartford CT, son of the late Thomas and Agnes Deely Sweeney, Barry lived in Manchester most of his life. He graduated from Manchester High School. He was employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft of East Hartford for 25 years. He presently was Vice President and co-owner of Nelson Precision Drilling in Glastonbury, CT. Most of all he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who loved to spend time with family, especially his grandchildren.
