On October 28, 2010, Norman's beautiful soul left this earth on a journey to a more peaceful and comforting place. He is survived by his wife Patricia Gibson, his sister-in-law Eileen Haddock, brother-in-law, Thomas Haddock, his two nephews, Chris and Jeffrey Haddock and his mother-in-law, Eleanor Halenar. Norm was an employee of the Town of Manchester and owner of Gibson's Gym. Norman's life was dedicated to fitness and restoration of custom cars. He competed in numerous bodybuilding contests and won many awards both local and national and was inducted into the Manchester Sports Hall of Fame in 2003. He and his wife followed their hearts and moved to Oro Valley, Arizona in 2002 to enjoy the beauty of the Southwest where he discovered cowboy boots, rodeos and country music. To all that knew him, Norm will be remembered for his big heart anbd the art of accommodating.
