Mary Schunemann (Felton)

First of all, if there was a 20th reunion I never heard about it! But I forgive you all...this is the one that counts.
I want to know what happened to:

Janet Ciechon

Dave Shea

Beth Schunemann

and Mark Lemire

Anybody? I left NH at 19 and never looked back so I lost touch with everyone! Curious, curious!

Marc Lamere is living in Carlisle, MA. His parents still live on Manchester next door to the house I grew up in.

Melissa Turner

Kevin, are you still in touch with Marc?

09/14/09 10:01 PM #670

Melissa Turner

And Pam, I must be remembering a different Pam. Cause that girl was a blast too!

09/14/09 10:03 PM #671

Kevin Farley

I see Marc and his wife Ginny from time to time--usually 3-4 times per year.

Kevin,

All I remember about that is that it was at Ellie's parents camp. Some chick was so whacked that she totaled her car on a tree.(no one hurt, luckily) Laura and I had to squeeze about 6 people and dog in her car and give them a ride back to Manch-vegas.

I also remember a bunch of us going up there after the prom and camping out.

Kevin any chance of getting a copy of the latest "bearded clam"?

09/14/09 11:22 PM #674

Kevin Farley

I'd have to talk to my brother for that one, Bill.

God, I was such a good doobie. How boring! When I took my polygraph for work they asked me what was the most disappointing thing I did before I was 18 that my parents were upset at. All I could come up with is I got a D in geometry. BORING!

Glenn, If you are out there, my phone just lost juice.

Glenn Lianos

You're not boring Donna...I love the phone calls you get...pierced cats...flying squirrels...

Flint hill memory: we bought a GIANT lobster and kept it on a leash for a while, named it Larry, then boiled it in an aluminum garbage can because it was the only thing it fit in! I remember lots of booze and lots of pot at Flint hill. Was there a hill? That I don't remember.

09/15/09 08:24 AM #679

Kevin Farley

There was, indeed, a hill. It was a small hill between the farm and the campground. The top was a beautiful snow-white quartz outcrop--very smooth and very white. You could practically see in the dark from the reflection of the moon.

Remember that the only water came from a freezing cold well with a hand pump?

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

No more stories, Rob! Our lips are sealed! But I will be emailing you today with a picture I found... It's probably from 7th grade... Brenda and Colette, you'll be hearing from me too!

09/15/09 08:47 AM #681

Kevin Farley

I was really enjoying these stories, Karen. To all, keep them coming.

09/15/09 08:50 AM #682

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

As long as they're not about ME! I've already taken a beating, as you can see!

09/15/09 11:03 AM #683

Brian Lavery

Come on gang, we have to be more creative than this! With all of the topics being covered, I think we ought to leave Karen alone for a while. I'm just saying... this is a target rich forum. Let's spread the warmth!

09/15/09 12:19 PM #684

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

Brian, you are my knight in shining armour! Don't worry about me; I take none of this to heart. I have been clumsy all my life - this is nothing new - and have accepted it. My dad used to call me an "accident waiting for a place to happen." Nice, huh? Stuff just kind of happens to me, no matter how hard I try to avoid it. So now, I just go with the flow and concentrate on damage-control!

I have a Senior Hike Day story too. It was a perfect day to head to the beach, although we never got to take advantage of the sunshine - Never actually made it to the beach. Lyn and I and a few good friends spent most of our Senior Hike Day in the Hampton Beach Jail! This officer had absolutely no sense of humor. No further details before Friday night.

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

And they pick on ME! I've never been busted!!

09/15/09 04:01 PM #687

Melissa Turner

Oh My Dog!!! Lyn and Brian have a record? Lyn, we are going to have to create a new table for you. One murder/Did Time Table. I don't know if I can wait for this one. I say the Forum should rise as one and DEMAND details.

Karen- We have an expression in our family (I don't know if it is original TO our family) for that kind of clumsiness. "Gwaumi" I have been considered Gwaumi my entire life (and sadly it is true.) I recently learned that my maternal grandmother was also Gwaumi (my Gwaumi Grammy.) My grandmother was a very dignified person (aside from all that gwauminess.) Perhaps there's hope for me yet.

09/15/09 04:34 PM #688

Robert Ferendo

Melissa...Aspiring to be "dignified?" Lord I hope not!!! Popular, clever, whitty, HOT...but please dont go the dignified route! :)

09/15/09 04:55 PM #689

Melissa Turner

Much as I hate to admit it, Rob, that ship has sailed. I am dignity itself. (Obviously)

09/15/09 05:47 PM #690

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

Glad to hear I'm in good company, Melissa. Gwuamis unite!

Hey Brian,

I've got a bit of a sr hike day story as well. Spent the best part of the day on the beach ...the next day either Hammond or Downton called me in his office and started questionning me...he then called my mother who told him what he could put in his pie hole ...she told him she kept me home for the day and the rest of it was NOYB...I think he pissed himself that day....THAT was the coolest thing she ever did..
