I am sorry for your loss, Donna. I do not mean that glibly. Our pets are such a small bit of joy and comfort. My children talked me into a rat,(That's right...A rat!) Mrs. Wuggles. When she died, I cried like a baby.

OMG...I go to bed early and look at all the fun I missed!

Kevin...yes, I meant the t-shirt. We all remember the food fight and if someone DIDN'T know about it, they found out when it was all over the Union Leader the next day! Weren't WE baaaaad?! Us naughty Memorialites! (I was in APS class at the time. When school was dismissed early, I remember Lisa Guillemette and I going to her house and hanging out. It was nice being out of school early...especially THAT class! Zzzzzz!)

Debbie: Thank you so much for finding and posting that picture! And the spider webbing cracks give it a ton of character!

And I thought I was having fun at the dinner...sounds like some of us were out having even MORE fun! :)

Tower Hill: Up by the lake heading towards Auburn.
Foley picture: The cracks cracked me up. Shows how old it is.
Donna: Losing pets suck. Especially the ones that got away and loose in my house over the years. Hamsters, spiders, snakes. We've had them all. My daughter is a reptile fanatic.
Melissa: Rats make awesome pets. They are smart and have friendly. We've had many.

Funny how little I have from high school. The kids know have cameras on them all the time. I remember kids thinking we were rich because we had a pool and a remote(clicker) for our t.v.

reading my own post shows I should not be trying to right so early. Or maybe that I should have paid attention in english. Sorry, I'm sure you know what I mean to say.

Anyone remember the Baby-eaters concert/party? I remember they wouldn't let the band play because members of the band were out of high school (Egor and company) so we assembled in the Kmart parking lot. The cops came and talked about "unlawful assembly" so we left in a caravan. Crazy night, if I remember or what I remember of it anyways (and that's not my age talking!)

Tower Hill is on the Auburn-Candia line. There's a pond up there that I believe is connected to the waterworks

Melissa,, I'm with you...hadnt heard of, or cant remember these locations at all...must have not been in the right crowd(or is it write???Linda) Does anyone else get the feeling they've had to push a whole lot of things OUT of their minds to fit NEW information in? wow...

Melissa...you sprained your ankle at Tower Hill...that might explain why you don't remember. We were all up there drinking one night and the cops came and we were running and you twisted your ankle...Go Gwaumi!

I vaguely remember some "pyro" threw gas in the water and then lighting it on fire...we were all amazed...like fireworks..OOOOOOOOOOOOOO..AHHHHHHHHH

Yes, Rob...I feel like an amnesia patient. I only start remembering things because someone else hits a "trigger" word...my brain is pudding

Kevin Farley

I think that pyro was Rick Hebert.

Well Glenn, that makes it worse. YOU remember my being there and I do not. I vaguely remember the ankle injury, but the rest…Nada! Sad…just sad.

I do remember a "running from the cops" incident with me, Steve Hernandez, Dan Soulia, and I believe Marc Odowd up near Southside JH. Came running across someones corner lot front yard in the pitch dark...never saw the dog run cable stretched across the yard at just about crotch height...Thankfully Soulia and Hernandez hit it first, so it had dropped to about ankle height by the time I went sprawling!...Thankfully no "critical" body parts were permanently injured in the making of this '79 high school memory...Though I believe the two of them were speaking a few octaves higher for a few days afterwards!

Hey Rob, Where is Dan Soulia? Does anyone know? And weren't we all a bunch of hoodlums? Rob, I thought your gang was better behaved. I am completely disillusioned.

Last info I had he was in Reno, NV. I believe he is still there...I left a phone message on the number I had for him a month or so ago, but havent heard back...and alas...so sorry to disappoint...didnt get into quite as much mischief because I was always out of town in Mass. skating...

Got in touch with Dan Soulia today...probably wont be making the reunion as he is having shoulder surgery on Sept. 28th...

I agree with Rob & Glenn; I don't remember a lot of this stuff. Just bits and pieces until someone hits the right word. Funny how that happens.

Count me among those who can’t remember a blessed thing! High school was a complete blur to me, and all of these thoughts are finally coming back. Let Melissa and Lyn have their one murder table, I want to sit at the ‘Too senile to remember anything about Memorial’ table. Maybe as people walk by the table, they could throw out one liners like ‘Elm Street drag races’, ‘Doc’s White House’, ‘Throwing a fish at the Portsmouth cheerleaders’, or ‘Jocks vs Pukes’.

Karen Dobrowski (Hernandez)

OMG! Doc's White House! My sister worked there for a while. It's a used car lot now!

Melissa Turner

Brian, I’m going to toggle between tables. I have as much reason to sit at the senile table as any other. I’ll probably end up there anyway when I forget which table I was sitting at.

09/16/09 03:50 PM #736

Robert Ferendo

I really think we can label the entire venue "too senile to remember MMHS"!!! That way we can use the table identifiers to continue profiling our "most wanted" classmates...murderers, (ex)spouse bashers, and such!

09/16/09 03:51 PM #737

Robert Ferendo

And what about the LITCHFIELD DRIVE IN...yeah!

Lyn Swanson (Lavery)

Melissa,
For the record, I don't have a record. I wasn't handcuffed or fingerprinted, or at least I don't remember if that happened. Just scared $hitless! I still can't believe that my parents never found out about it. I will kill my kids if they ever pull a stunt like we did! Please let me stay at the "One Murder" table. Although it does feel like I'm doing time raising two headstrong boys!

Kathy,
I remember my call down to the office the day after senior hike day as well. My mom wrote me my note, but I had to call my dad. I can't remember whose office I had the pleasure going into, but I remember hearing my father screaming on the other end of the phone that he wasn't a liar, my mother wasn't a liar, and I wasn't a liar, I was sick! There were a few obscenities thrown in for good measure. My father was ready for that phone call!

Glenn,
Ah, the eyelash picture! Had forgot all about that. I think that was the beginning of my mascara obsession.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it to PJ O'Sullivans Friday night, and everyone else at the reunion in a few weeks.

I hope we have a “Willing to dance” table. My husband likes to dance in the worst way (and so he does.) Okay, that’s not true. But he has to have a few drinks in him before he cuts loose and then I fear for the safety of others. Really, it’s a moral dilemma (cause I want to dance) but our liability insurance goes up every time he hits the dance floor.

To be fair, Tim has recommended that I not discuss politics, because I become rabid. So, someone, please…. Anyone!...Ask me to dance. Or better yet, sign our release from liability waiver and ask Tim to dance. (I'll just sit back and watch.)

Hey! What page is the famous mascara picture on? I can’t find it.

Donna Knowles, I will need to pick your brain for stories! My memory of high school is not as good as yours I bet (lost a lot of brain cells during those years!) but I know we spent so many years together you MUST have good ones. How scared should I be?
