Chez Vachon is the bomb. I'm in. There's usually an after-church crowd on Sunday. Nice combo--class of '79 and 15 minutes outa church!

What's church? Sorry, Anne, I'm not a churchgoer. I do know one when I see one though. (Please, friends, do not take offense.)

Can we make a reservaton at Chez Vachon? If not, should we call ahead and warn them?

Robert Ferendo

Kevin...no offense taken! Melissa..definitely should reserve or give a heads up!

Wow! With everything else going on and trying to just keep up with the website updates, I don't get much opportunity to look at the message forum.

Pam - you and Maura are certainly in my prayers. I learned a long time ago that there is nothing better we can offer one another, and so with prayers for healing will also be prayers for peace for you and Maura's dad. I can't imagine what you are going through.

Bill - I doubt you look 100, but I pray you are better and stronger each day. Remember disecting pigs in biology? Who thought we'd have parts of them in our bodies someday...lol!

I'm getting more and more anxious to see you all, and I plan to be at the football game, too. I think Richard Fisk was going to meet us in the MHS parking lot, too. Is that right, Richard?

Take care, everyone!

These 3 guys gave me a response, but I don't see their names on the list...so consider this a NAG you guys: Dave Roy (and his new wife); Scott Komisarek, and Letourneau: are you through thinking yet????? Gotta see who else I can bug...........I hope they read this log........Mark Conners - can you tell Ray Ray that I publicly called him out???

Thanks Anne for finding out about Dave E.
Too bad he can't come to the reunion...get him to post a photo if you could! :)

Oh, Pam! Just caught up and saw the news about your Maura. Keep strong! With all the prayers and good wishes heading your way, she should be up and around in no time! We're all pulling for her!

Cathy and Bill: Get lots of rest because we'll accept NO excuses of infirmity to get out of coming to the party! Feel better!

The turnout for the football game is looking great! Can't wait!!

Mary: Shameless, asking about David's dimples on your wedding anniversary...OH Behave!

Cathy/Bill : glad you're on the road to recovery. Bill I feel 100 some days w/out surgery!

I just spoke with the folks at Chez Vachon. They are happy to accommodate us for a Sunday brunch after the reunion. They do not take reservations, but can seat a crowd and are aware that we plan to be there. They will try to put together as many tables as we need.

They suggest that we come during church (I told you) in order to avoid the crowds.

I personally suggest the poutin.

Maura is stable and still on the ventilator but they are trying to wean her down slowly. They have been able to decrease some of her cardiac meds which is good too. She has a bacterial infection in her sputum and has been started on a very strong antibiotic called "Vancomycin."
All of your prayers and well wishes are working keep it coming!

Bill and Donna the best to both of you for speedy recoveries from your surgeries. I must say, Bill, I was a cardiac nurse for two years and the men in our age group were the worst patients and biggest babies!! I hope you aren't like that!! LOL See I am still trying to keep a sense of humor through all of this! I actually accused my ex of trying to date me again last night which gave us both a good laugh considering we had a very nasty divorce!

So happy to hear Maura is feeling a little better. Thinking and praying for you. Is there anything we can do for you? Let us know.

Pam..great news..keep the laughter coming..it is the best medicine as they say! and can only help if Maura is surrounded by your positive vibes!

Pam ~

How wonderful to hear from you and I'm so happy to hear that Maura is improving. My family and I will continue to pray and send positive thoughts!

Linda Lemay (Wojceshonek)

I will continue to keep the positive energy for Maura. Poor little girl.

All this talk of Chez Vachon got me going. And then you go and mention Poutin. Another of my favorites. I'm heading there with some family on Wednesday for breakfast.

I'll be working that Sunday until 1:30 so I won't make brunch but I'm sure you will all have a great time.

Pam...that's great! Let's hope that there is more good news on the way. God Bless you for keeping your wonderful sense of humor.

X O

I'll have to check my choir schedule: It might be my turn to cantor at Mass that Sunday, so I'll have to get to Chez Vachon after Church. Save me a seat? (By the way, Kev, I'm no where close to having blue hair, and I'm only half French Canadian - sans accent. :-D Gotcha! hee-hee-hee)
