Michelle Lafond (Morin) Sorry I missed it! By these responses and from what I've heard already by a few that have attended the event, I missed a great evening of fun and gathering. Glad to hear that all went well and that the evening was enjoyed by so many. So good to hear positive remarks! Nice job coordinators of this event!

Just go past the photos of my family. For those who didn't know there are also pictures from a couple meetings prior to the main event. Hope you enjoy, and for those who couldn't make it, this might be the next best thing.

I have discovered some things about our class:
1. You are so gracious and kind - thanks for all the words of appreciation. I think I can speak for the whole committee when I say it was worth every minute just to see you all and to know everyone had a great time.
2. You all look great! Remember our mugs from the 10 year reunion - "We're not getting older, we're getting better"? It's true! Whatever you're all doing, keep it up. It's working! ;-)
3. We all want to do this more often, so rest assured, this website will be here for us to continue connecting. Let's keep working to get more people here!

I tried to see everyone, but I know I didn't succeed, and I know there were lots of old friends I had hoped to see who didn't make it, so let's keep coming up with ideas for meeting. I'm happy to post announcements anytime. I'll also get my pictures posted asap.

Ellen Paquette (Boudreau) We had a wonderful time last night and it was great seeing and catching up with everyone. I even planted a kiss on someone that I'd always wanted to! :) We had to leave a bit early, but we enjoyed every minute. THANK YOU to the committee for your efforts and thank you Brenda, for keeping me in the loop!

Donna Keenan (Grady) I have to add my Kudos to the fabulous people who made last night possible. It was so great to see so many that I haven't seen not only in years, but since graduation! The food was great and the company was even better! Rock On Class of '79!

Robert Ferendo Ditto all the sentiments so far...the Class of '79 truly does ROCK! And amazingly saw some of the same faces at Chez Vachon this morning! Way to go...looking forward to many more great times...anyone up for the INDY 500 next Memorial Day Weekend...? will see if we have any takers...the 500 is always a great party! Rob

When you look forward to something with such anticipation and excitement one is often disappointed. Last evening was quite to the contrary. What a wonderful evening! A sincere "thank you" to the reunion committee for taking valuable time out of their busy lives to plan such an enjoyable evening. It was very apparent that a great deal of thought and consideration went into the planning of this event. As I was one of the classmates who began "celebrating" on Friday evening, I am exhausted, but I also would not have missed a minute of it. It was great to see everyone and rekindle old friendships. Thanks again for all of the hard work in organizing this event and here's to keeping in touch!

I am sad that last night is over. I have to say my husband and I had an absolute blast. It was all about a bunch of kids from high school getting to know each other again as adults and it seems that we really did.
Wow a great class. Reunion Committee Thank you for this great event. The best part was that we really have great people in our class. We all have done well. A big thank you too to our spouces and significant others for supporting our night. I think they all had as much fun as we did. We will always have our class in common- Go Class of 79. Seems like yesterday.
Keep in touch everyone and know we are all there for one
another. PS the hangover was worth it.

I am so glad I was able to make it!! Seeing many old friends was awesome. After not being home for 2 weeks sleeping on a fold out hospital recliner I just couldn't drag myself out of my comfortable bed to go to brunch Sun. morning. Sorry I missed that but I was able to catch up on some much needed rest in my own bed! Back in Boston with Maura now and she had a good day today. Hoping to be back home at this time next week.

Thank you to all of you who reached out to me regarding Maura's status. The prayer cards and gifts were wonderful and I thank you Margo, Carol, Lyn and Brian for your thoughtfulness.

To the committee a big thank you for all of your time and effort putting this together and making it a memorable evening for all! I can't wait to see some of the pictures and I hope it isn't another 10 yrs. before I see some of you again!! When's the next gathering??

Sometimes, Tim and I watch the squids and smile at each other and before we can say “Jinx” we both say, “I don’t ever want to be that age again” Well...this weekend I got to be that age again and it was glorious! Thank you all for the fun, the amazing memories and the sleep deprivation (worth it!). I learned so much about each of you and maybe something about myself (for example. Poutin?...not a fan.)

I think I can easily say this was the best reunion that has ever happened…any time…anyplace…EVER! I’ve asked around and so far that’s the consensus. I even asked the airport shuttle guy if his 30th sounded that good and he said, “NO!” So it’s official.

Thank you reunion committee, (now get some sleep) thank you beloved class of ’79. Thank you for being so kind to my husband. He had a blast too. I am proud to be part of this class.

I as well wanna say that was a great night. It was really nice to see everyone and the committee did a great job. I do believe class of 79 knows how to be the best class ever!!. I liked that even people you did'nt really hang around with in high school you were able to chat and mingle with them at this reunion and find just how nice they are as well. So yes it was nice to see all my old friends but even nicer to see my old classmates and new friends!!. I do hope we all keep this website going and all stay in contact. Your clasmate and friend always for sure.

The committee did an excellent job. Amazing how you got people from so far away to come. Class of 79 really is the best.
