I will definitely try to make it most likely with my children with me but you all might enjoy meeting my Maura seeing I have talked so much about her on this forum! Melissa I can't wait to hear about more of your Tokyo adventures and especially see pictures!! Well I am so tired after getting back to work this week and getting back into the swing of life again! Maura is doing very well and has been back to school since Wed. I am in much need of a break but my ex has reverted back to his same old asshole self and refused to take Maura this weekend because he has band gigs to do despite the fact it is his weekend to have her. As many people have said to me "He doesn't have a audiance anymore to impress." Oh, well, his loss as she is a beautiful little girl and I will do what I have to as her mother to see that she gets what she needs in life!

I'm creating an MMHS1979 "group" in my cell phone. This way, if we plan a last-minute get together or are going out and want to invite others, we can send a text to the group, just in case people aren't reading the message forum on a regular basis. If you want to be included in the group, text me your name and I'll add you to the list and send a group text so everyone will be able to put you in their phone, as well. This can also be a resource if we're meeting at a new place and someone gets lost on the way...they'll have everyone's cell numbers who have agreed to be on the list. If you are interested, go to my profile page, which has my cell phone number (this message forum is public), and text me your name. Hope this helps us stay in touch!

I hope no one minds me doing this here, but since it IS such a great resource and all... would any of you HAPPEN to know anyone who is selling a used car? We are looking to replace our daughter's car and are specifically looking for a 1993 volvo 240. She has a wagon now and we thought to replace it with same would let us keep the current one for parts.We gone the usual internet routes but these cars are not that common and we don't want one with 250,000 miles on it, we already have one of those! :) Thanks friends! Also, maybe you could call several reputable used car dealers and ask if they could be on the lookout for the vehicle for you. If you negotiate a fair price, it could be a win/win situation. They have lots of connections to the car auctions. I know a couple of people who are into cars, so I'll check with them to see if they have any ideas that may help you. Good luck!

Some text messages need to be sent with limited text. Therefore, it would be hard to send a new member all of the names and cell numbers already in the group. Easy fix: I will keep a running list and when someone sends me a text with their name, I will send them the list in an email through the website. If you know anyone who wants to stay connected but does not read the message forum, please pass this information on to them. Thank you! A friendly caution to those who do not have unlimited text and want to be included in the group. I have no idea how many text messages this may generate in the future, since we are all so eager to keep in touch! I wouldn't want anyone to get one of those unexpected bills from hell! :) Have a great Sunday and enjoy this beautiful weather!

I personally check it all to the time to check and see if people are wanting any of the stuff I have acquired over the years. Carol,Not sure what people use for cell, but I have verizon and anyone using verizon is free texts for me. Just saying......

Mary I will check with a friend of mine who buys and sells cars to see if he may know of anything available.

Pam - glad to hear things are getting back to normal again and Maura is home! Yeah! I went into Salem, MA (Witch City) last night with some friends and had a great time! What a CRAZY, but fun place to be Halloween night...especially since it was on a Saturday night and the weather was unusually warm! Crazy crowded, but well worth the experience!
