Barbara Searles Vaillancourt

I moved to Cape Cod right after Graduation and I moved back to Manchester 5 years ago. I married my High School Sweetheart. I am working on my NH teacher certification. I work with Autistic young adults at the Manchester School of Technology and West High School.

I remember the food fight of 1979 and Mr. Folley trying to stop the fight and restore order to the caf. Boy was that a mistake! I can still picture him walking briskly back towards his office with milk shake dripping down his bald head. He locked himself in his office and called the cops!! We all got the rest of the day off from school. We were bad-ass!! My step daughter teaches at Memorial and they still talk about the food fight to this day!
